Children can show honor to their parents in a variety of ways, including by doing as they are told, not disagreeing with them, and not shouting at them. Generally, being obedient is the best way to honor your parents.

Some older children show their parents obedience by doing chores such as cutting the grass in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter.
