Also nicknamed "The Automail Engineer's Mecca", Rush Valley got its title from the many automail merchants and repair shops found in the town. Winry travels with the Elric brothers specifically because she wants to visit this city.

Answer: A pocket watch

The pocket watch is used as proof that Edward is a state alchemist. The onlookers ended up stripping Edward down to his underwear, making the watch an easy steal. The thief is a girl by the name of Paninya and once Edward finds her, a chase ensues that lasts the remainder of the chapter.

At one point, Paninya is captured in an alchemically created cage only to quickly break free because, as it turns out, she has two automail legs which she uses to break the bars of the cage. She is eventually caught by Winry, who asks to examine Paninya's legs.

Kain is the first name of Sergeant Major Fuery, a member of Roy Mustang's group in the military. Ridel and Satera LeCourt are husband and wife and Dominic is Ridel's father and the one who actually makes Paninya's automail.
