When "Do You Want to Know a Secret" became a US Number Two single on the Vee-Jay label it became the first US Top Ten song from The Beatles featuring George Harrison on lead vocals. "Can't Buy Me Love" kept the song from reaching Number One.
"Do You Want to Know a Secret" was backed on the US release by "Thank You Girl".
"Do You Want to Know a Secret" was not released as a single by The Beatles in the UK. Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas released a cover version which made the UK Top Ten. The flip side was another Lennon-McCartney composition, "I'll Be on My Way".

Answer: Freddy Fender

Freddy Fender recorded his first hit, "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights", in 1959. In 1974 "Before the Next Teardrop Falls" became a signature song for Freddy and he released a version of "Secret Love" the following year. His version topped the Country charts and reached Number 20 on the Pop charts in the US.
Doris sang "Secret Love" in the 1953 film, "Calamity Jane". The following year the song earned an Academy Award for Best Original Song. "Secret Love" was the fourth US chart-topper for Doris Day.
Other artists who have recorded "Secret Love" included The Moonglows, The Chiffons and Connie Francis.
Willie Nelson had a 1975 crossover hit in 1975 with the Number 21 "Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain". "Carolina in the Pines" by Michael Martin Murphey also reached Number 21 the same year. "Every Time I Touch You (I Get High)" by Charlie Rich was a US Top Twenty in 1975.

"Secret" was the fourth single release from Heart's tenth studio album, "Brigade". Heart had not release an album in three years before "Brigade". "Call of the Wild" and "I Love You" were the only cuts from the LP that featured writing contribution by the Wilson sisters.
Heart had switched to Capitol Records five years earlier and released the "Heart" album the same year followed by the "Bad Animals" album in 1987. After the group's 1990 tour they released "Rock the House Live!" that featured several songs from the "Brigade" album.
Roxette had a hit singles in 1990 with "Dangerous" and "It Must Have Been Love". "We Can't Go Wrong" was released by Cover Girls in 1990 and Wilson Phillips released "Hold On".

Answer: It was their only Pink Floyd album featuring both David Gilmour and Syd Barrett.

In addition to being the final album that Syd Barrett appeared on it was the only one that featured all five members. Because Syd's behavior was becoming more erratic David Gilmour was called in to assist in the recording and played on five of the selections. Although various members of the entire band worked on the songs "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" was the only song to have all five members on it.
Rolling Stone was not flattering in their critique of the LP when it was released.
"See Emily Play" was from the "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" album. "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" featured the band members on the cover. "Ummagumma was a double album comprised of both live and studio tracks.

Despite releasing nine albums before "As the Band Turns", "Secret Lovers" was the first Top Ten single release by Atlantic Starr. Group members Barbara Weathers and David Lewis sang "Secret Lovers". Atlantic Starr made the Top Forty in 1982 when they released "Circles" from their album "Brilliance". In 1987 the group had their first and only US Number One hit with "Always".
The band formed in 1976 in New York and relocated to California the following year to play clubs using the name Newban but changed their name when they signed with A and M Records.
Members of the Candymen and the Classics IV formed the Atlanta Rhythm Section in 1970. "Who's Holding Donna Now" was a 1985 release by Debarge. Animotion released "Obsession" the same year.

"Secret Garden" first appeared on Springsteen's 1995 "Greatest Hits" album. It was released as a single with a live version of "Thunder Road". "Secret Garden" benefited from being included on the soundtrack of the 1996 film "Jerry Maguire". Two years later "Secret Garden" was on the soundtrack of "A Night at the Roxbury".
Bruce Springsteen was the sole composer of "Secret Garden". The song peaked at Number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart but fared better on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, peaking at Number Five.

Answer: Luther Vandross

The title track of the "Your Secret Love" album earned Luther Vandross a Grammy for "Best Male R and B Vocal Performance". The album was his last album recorded for the Epic label.
Luther Vandross began his career composing and recording commercials in the seventies and went on to become a session singer. During the Disco era Vandross sang lead for Greg Diamond's Bionic Boogie and worked with several other artists. In 1981 he signed a contract with Epic Records. His first album on Epic, "Never Too Much", (1981) made the Top Twenty on the US album charts and Vandross was nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1982. In 1991 he won a Grammy for Best R and B Vocal Performance for "Here and Now".
"Love T.K.O." was released by Teddy Pendergrass. Freddie Jackson recorded "Rock Me Tonight" and George Benson had a hit with "Give Me the Night".

Answer: Bedtime Stories

"Take a Bow", "Secret", "Bedtime Story" and "Human Nature" were the four singles released from Madonna's "Bedtime Stories" album. Dave "Jam" Hal, Babyface, Dallas Austin and Nellee Hooper collaborated on the project. The album peaked at the Number Three position on the US album charts. The "Secret" single reached Number Three on the US Billboard charts.
"Like a Prayer" was released in 1989. "Hard Candy" was a 2008 release and "True Blue" came out in 1986.

"Secret Agent Man" peaked at number three in the US. The television series was first produced in the UK as "Danger Man". When it began a two-year run in the US it was titled "Secret Agent". Steve Barri and P. F. Sloan composed the theme for the American production.

The theme song for the show only contained one verse so the lyrics had to be expanded when it was released as a single. Session player Chuck Day came up with the guitar riff featured throughout the song that was inspired by the James Bond theme. In addition to "Secret Agent Man" Johnny Rivers topped the US charts with "Poor Side Of Town" and had a Top Twenty hit with "(I Washed My Hands In) Muddy Water" in 1966.

"The Secret Life of Arabia" was the final cut from David Bowie's "Heroes" album. Brian Eno and Carlos Alomar collaborated with Bowie in writing the song. Eno contributed keyboard, synthesizer and guitar work on the LP. Alomar played rhythm guitar.
"Heroes" was Bowie's twelfth studio album and ranked Number 35 on the 1977 US Billboard album chart. John Lennon was a big fan of the LP.
