This song was written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin for Bobby Vee and he did record it on his album "Liberty" in 1963 but did not release it as a single. Carole King however, recorded it as a demo version, which was released as a single in 1962. It rose to number twenty-two on Billboard and to number three on the UK singles chart the following year.

"Walkin' in the Rain" was written by two prison inmates in 1952 and after they recorded it in 1953 it had some minor success on the R&B chart. The best known version was recorded by Johnnie Ray in 1956, when it rose to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and hit number one on the UK Singles Chart. It became one of Johnnie Ray's better known hit songs.
