The first character we saw was Billy and he was doing a little bit of dancing at Amanda's place while reading the newspaper. He sat down on the sofa but it was uncomfortable so he went to go sit at the table. That was also uncomfortable so he decided to just sit on the floor and read his newspaper.

Amanda came out and saw Billy on the floor reading the paper so she opened up the drapes and commented on what a beautiful day it was. Billy commented how his sense of sight did not kick in until around 11 a.m. so Amanda asked him what he was if he was not a morning or a night person. Billy cut her off while she asked him the question and she told him to go lay on the couch.

In Allison and Keith's first scene, they were in Allison's car and Keith commented how he would not be rushing her if it was a perfect world. Keith told Allison how he had a job offer in Seattle and she needed to give him an answer on if she would go with him or not. Keith told her he would push back the date if he could but he could not. Allison told Keith she would give him an answer soon.

In Allison's first scene at D&D Advertising, she was going to her desk and Amanda came up and told her that Lucy was looking for her. Allison asked her why and Amanda commented that it had to do with revisions that Amanda did. Amanda commented on how Allison was late to work but she did not make a big stink about it.

Allison told Amanda, at D&D Advertising, that she would be leaving her job after that day since she was going to move to Seattle to be with Keith and that she was excited to be moving. She said how she heard that Lucy would help Amanda find a new apartment and how Amanda could relax since Allison's moving to Seattle had nothing to do with Billy and Amanda being together. Amanda defensively told Allison that was not what she was thinking.

In one scene, Jane was seen sleeping so Michael came in and she told him how it was early but he told her it was already 9 a.m. Michael asked her about last night and she told him everything went well the previous night. Jane asked Michael if they could talk later and Michael agreed to speak with her later on that day.

Jo was seen by the apartment complex pool and Allison saw her and asked her if she wanted a lamp and she showed her the lamp. Jo took the lamp and looked at it and Michael was out there so he asked Allison if she could come to the going away party he was planning for her. Allison said she could make it. Jo decided to take Allison's lamp.

Estes, born on July 22nd, 1963 in Norfolk, Virginia guest starred as Sam Towler, Michael's friend, in this episode. Estes played this part for just two episodes but he began a three season run as Kyle McBride on "Melrose Place" beginning in season five. He has also guest starred on the TV shows, "CSI: Miami", "Gilmore Girls" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

Michael and Jane were in their apartment when the phone rang so Michael answered it. We heard him say "Pam" so therefore he spoke to someone named Pam on the other end. When he got off the phone, he told Jane how Sam's trip home was delayed and he was at the hospital.

Near the end of the episode, we saw Kimberly interacting with Michael's friend, Sam, and he told her how she was too beautiful to be a doctor. Michael entered the room and hugged Sam and Kimberly told Michael how she liked his friend, Sam. Kimberly exited the room so Michael and Sam could talk.
