The episode began with Jake and Jo and Jake was complaining to Jo since he did his tax return and it said he owed approximately $8,000. Jo told him how she was sorry about it but there was nothing she could do to fix it. Jake said that he should have gotten a real accountant.

Hayes, who also wrote and produced many episode of "Melrose Place", also guest starred as Irving Marshall, Jr. in this episode. This was the only episode of the show in which he played a character. Amanda accused Allison of lying about it but Allison told her she was welcome to check with her doctor.

Michael was first seen at Wilshire Memorial Hospital talking to a bunch of other doctors and then he noticed Kimberly right down the hall. Michael excused himself so he could go talk to Kimberly. He said hello to Kimberly and she told him how she had been distracted by him the entire morning. They went into an elevator, closed the doors, and began to make love.

Near the beginning of the episode, Allison was complaining to Billy about Amanda and he was seen swimming some laps in the pool. Billy got out of the pool and suggested that Allison should take a swim anytime she felt frustrated by work since it would take her mind off of it. Billy told Allison he was also stressed out from work but Allison told him that he was at least not working for "Amanda the Hun."

Jake was going up the stairs to Jo's apartment but she was walking down so Jake asked her if she could go over some more tax forms for him. Jo told him she was done helping out Jake with his taxes and that she now had more free time on her hands. This was when she then informed him she was going to a movie for the night.

Allison went down to do her laundry in the laundry room and saw that Michael was also there washing his clothes. Allison confronted Michael about seeing him and Kimberly close together at the hospital so he told her that Kimberly had a tough morning and he was trying to comfort her. Allison accused Michael of having an affair with her and Michael told her he was indeed having an affair with Kimberly.

While Michael did go to lunch with someone in this episode, it was actually with Kimberly and not Jane. At lunch, Michael told Kimberly how he could not explain the attraction he had to her and suspected she was also attracted to him. Kimberly then looked up and noticed that Jane was right behind them but Michael invited Jane to sit down and have lunch at their table.

Near the end of the episode, Jane and Michael were at their apartment and she commented to him how they were too young to be working so hard.
