In Michael's first scene, he was in the bathroom of his apartment shaving and Jane entered to talk to him. Jane commented how Michael had one more day until he was "shackled" to her for two more years but Michael said "shackle" was not the term he would use. As they walked into the hospital, Kimberly informed him how she did not want to wake up that morning since she had such nice dreams about the two of them being together. Kimberly informed Michael how she checked the schedule and noticed they both had the next night off but Michael said he was spending time with Jane since it was their anniversary.
