1.9 "Responsibly Yours" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Billy Campbell

The episode began, with shots of downtown Los Angeles, and Billy was seen driving a taxi cab. He noticed a woman working, on her car, so he pulled over and got out to talk to her. Billy asked the woman if he could help, with her car, but she said she only wanted to see the hands of a mechanic. Billy said he was not a mechanic but he had dealt with car trouble, over the years, and had some knowledge on fixing cars.

The woman allowed Billy to look at her car.

Billy gave the woman he had just met a ride, to a mechanic, and he asked her some questions while she rode in his taxi. Billy asked her what she did, for a living, and he predicted she was an actress. The woman replied she was somewhat of an actress since she sold shoes. Billy told her she was wasting her life, selling shoes, and encouraged her to use her beauty and knowledge for a better career.

Jake was going, to his apartment, and he saw Michael gardening and commented that he found it awkward Michael was gardening while all dressed up. Michael told Jake he dressed up since he and Jane were going out to dinner. Michael commented that Jane was feeling very romantic and perhaps he was lucky. Jake told Michael that, if Jane had a baby on the way, he should not feel lucky.

Billy spent some time, with Allison, Rhonda, and Matt and he told them about the woman he had just met. They asked Billy to describe the woman and Billy said she was adventurous and mature and, upon hearing Billy call the woman mature, Rhonda took a pot shot, at Billy, and asked him what she saw in him. Billy insisted that he was a lot more mature than they thought.

Billy and his new girlfriend, Dawn, went on a date and they went back to her apartment. Billy wanted to spend time with her, in her apartment, but she told Billy that was not a good idea. As soon as she said this, the door opened and Billy saw Dawn's son and the babysitter.

The babysitter told Dawn they heard them speaking and Dawn's son was anxiously waiting for her to come home. We found out Dawn's son was named Martin.

The next morning, Billy was in his apartment and Allison was there, as well, and he mentioned to her that Dawn had a son named Martin. Billy said he was alright with his new girlfriend being a mom but that it made their relationship complicated and complex. Billy complained that, with a child involved, you had to watch what you said and did every second. Billy's relationship, with Dawn, did not last long.

Sandy was getting ready, for a date with Jake, and she told Rhonda to inform her if she felt she was making a mistake by dating him. Rhonda questioned if she should say anything, about this possible relationship between Sandy and Jake. Rhonda told Sandy that Jake was a great guy but that she should remember how Jake gave her mixed signals before, on a relationship.

Dawn invited Billy over for dinner, one night, and Billy tried to bond, with Martin, but Martin showed he did not care for Billy. Dawn told Billy that she was offered a stand up comedy gig, in Ventura, but the problem was Ventura was far away and she could not get there with a broken car. Billy offered to drive her, to Ventura, and Martin got upset that his mom did not ask his father to drive her.

Billy went to go talk, to Martin, and he saw that Martin was a big fan of "The Terminator" film series. Billy started to talk to him, about the second film, and how he liked the action sequences and when Arnold's character killed the villain by knocking him into molten steel. Billy told Martin that the best thing, about the movie, was Arnold's character always stood by the boy he protected. Billy emphasize the point of looking out for one another to encourage Martin to realize everything would be okay.

Hyser, born on December 20th, 1957 in New York City, guest starred as Dawn Bonds on this episode of "Melrose Place." She has also had guest starring stints on the TV shows, "Murder, She Wrote", "The Marshal", and "Freddy's Nightmares."
