As soon as Toby wakes up he morning he opens his app to double check the name of the woman he spent the night with. He wakes her and calls her an Uber. He does this often, kicking women out of his place as soon as the sun rises.

Toby tells his therapist that he's trying to do better, respecting women more even though he can't seem to stop sleeping around. His therapist suggests that perhaps he's more interested in conquest than respect; he's confused and he craves the dopamine rush of the one-night stand. He feels that men are being made to feel bad out their desires. His therapist begs to differ, and it starts to get him thinking that maybe he should find a male therapist.

Answer: Pincher

Toby leaves his therapy session early, pretending he needs to go back to the office sooner than expected. The truth is that he's getting messages on his Pincher app. He heads straight to his car and revises his bio blurb, including the phrase 'Make America Fun Again'. Back at the office, one of his female colleagues, Sasha, suggests that maybe it'll attract a mail-order bride; it kind of grosses her out. She asks about his therapy, especially since he seems to be getting worse.

Toby rushes to his boss' office to get chewed out for only thinking about himself. Per criticisms from his colleagues, he's frequently late and often unfocused. It's true, as well, that he may have only gotten the job because of his mother's capabilities. Now that he's coming across as a toxic misogynist, it's a problem. While she explains her need for an heir with a future at the company, he tries to hide that he's browsing Pincher. The next meeting, she says, will be more formal and more final.

Answer: A syringe

After Toby's rough meeting at work he ogles his most recent Pincher match, Natessa, who Sasha refers to as a deepfake Russian honeytrap with a fake name. He thinks she looks like a doll.

He heads out on a date with Natessa that night and they seem to hit it off, even if Toby is putting out red flag after red flag. Before long, the pair go back to his place for a steamy one-night stand. Distracted by a tattoo on Natessa's back while he takes off her clothes, he doesn't notice, as she sits him down on his bed, that she's about to jab him with a syringe. Instead, he falls unconscious.

Answer: Kidney

When Toby wakes up from his night with Natessa, he finds he's alone in bed. He moves to get up, but finds it's too painful. He feels the sharp pinch under a strip of gauze on his abdomen, pulling it back to find he's been stapled shut. He struggles out of his bedroom and into the hall despite the pain, eventually making it to the phone and heading to the hospital.

What Toby finds is that someone gave him a radical nephrectomy; Natessa removed his kidney. In addition to that, as the doctor informs him, whoever took the kidney left something inside his body, deftly attaching it to a knotted thicket of arteries compressed against a critical nerve. The doctor is consulting with his colleagues; they don't know if they'll be able to remove it. No one knows what the new organ might do.

Answer: A Roman goddess

After speaking to the police about Natessa and trying to get a lead on organ harvesters (finding out that generally they're an urban legend), Toby is left with more questions than answers, especially after discovering that not only is there no trace of the woman from the night before, but the cameras in his building were systematically wiped of all footage.

When Toby returns home, Sasha assists him in making dinner and she admits that maybe she had second thoughts on swiping left on him. He doesn't listen to this, instead focusing on trying to draw Natessa's tattoo, aiming to reverse image search it. It works, coming up with a symbol for the Cult of Cybele, an Ancient Roman fertility goddess.

That night, Toby receives a call from his doctor and the recommendation that he go to Brazil as they have more experience with odd organ concerns. Unfortunately, his own doctors can't remove it, especially since it's growing bigger.

Answer: Searching the dark web

Toby returns to work, speaking to his boss about the recent issue, and while she's sympathetic towards his pain, she's not thrilled that his life is continuing to spiral into chaos. She puts him on a mandatory three months of leave, asking him to relinquish his company card.

On his way out he speaks to a coworker who formerly hooked him up with escorts, asking how he can get access to the dark web to hunt down Natessa. Though Wyatt is reluctant to do anything for Toby, he's able to squeeze him for $52,000, all just to locate the mystery woman.

That night, Toby has a terrifyingly lucid dream that Natessa returns to his apartment, slices him open, and reclaims the organ she left behind. He awakens to find his phone ringing; Wyatt already has information.

Answer: An auction

After Wyatt comes by with the words 'Magna Mater' to share, Toby realizes that the whole Natessa deal goes much deeper as her connection to the Cult of Cybele is clear. More importantly, it's hard to tell what Magna Mater does, but they hold regular events and the next one is in a week. To get him in, Wyatt needs $100,000, and more importantly, he needs a new identity.

It's why Toby gets Sasha to help him dye his hair blond. As the day approaches, he gets a suit, collects a gun, and heads to the mysterious event, presenting a fake membership card for entry, donning a face mask, and being let in.

And what he finds, much to his concern, is that he's stepped into an auction for harvested organs.

Answer: No

As Toby navigates the auction he looks around at the full room of potential buyers and speaks to one about their intent. It turns out that most people present aren't there for themselves, but the aftermarket sales; one could buy a fresh pancreas at this auction and sell it for double in Russia or China. The man Toby speaks to makes a bid for $750,000, winning the lot.

As the auctioneer starts the bidding on a human heart, Toby spots Natessa on a balcony overhead and proceeds to intercept her, placing a gun at her back and telling her not to move. He escorts her outside to chat, admitting she was no more than an actor, there to prepare an easy, otherwise entitled target for her team. When he was unconscious, they got to work.

As Natessa explains, a team came in with all the equipment, removed his kidney while he was still in his bed, and the process went as smoothly as possible, which is more than can be said for some. She admits that she doesn't know what was put inside him, but whatever it is makes him more valuable than he's ever been in his life. Someday soon, they'll come back to retrieve it-- just chop it right out.

Answer: Yes

Natessa admits, once again, that she's just an actor and she asks Toby to let her go, reminding that she's just as lost in the Magna Mater goings-on as he is. In the struggle to escape, however, Toby shoots her in the stomach, killing her.

Toby leaves Natessa in the alley near the action, instead meeting with Sasha for help. She tries to convince him to go to the police; if he turns himself in, they can find the best defence lawyers. The problem is that the elites in Magna Mater will try to get what they left inside him. It's because of this that he suggests they fly to Rio and live off his crypto once he gets the new organ out of him. Despite impulsively telling Sasha that he might love her, she still decides to call the police.

And when Toby heads to the cops to tell the truth, they investigate the site at which the auction was held-- a local library. And it turns out they had a book signing the night before, or at least proof they did. The police reveal that they know about the body in the alley nearby, and her appearance and tattoo match the suspect he indicated to them in the hospital. He has no choice but to admit to her murder.

After they apprehend him, they reveal they're in on Magna Mater's plan. Instead of taking him to the station, they take him to Magna Mater's headquarters.

Answer: The enhancing of life

Brought to a Magna Mater lab and left zip-tied to a chair, Toby is met by the real perpetrators of his organ harvest-- Sasha and his boss, both of whom have been watching and preparing him for a long time. As his boss notes, the future is in the prolonging of life, especially for women, and to do that they've developed the glans naftali, a brand new organ created as a miracle of science, working in conjunction with the adrenal glands to enhance the human experience.

Toby will not survive the procedure in which the glans naftali is removed, but he will be giving a rich woman the greatest gift in her life.

At an auction dinner a short time later, Toby's therapist bids $2.3M to receive the new organ.
