Unfortunately, while traipsing around the mountains, Kyle through a hole into an ice cave. It was when Stan got lowered into the cave that the boys discovered the man frozen in ice!

They were voting on whether or not to reinstate the death penalty in South Park, but didn't seem to be taking the vote very seriously. One guy walked up in the middle and voted affirmatively, knowing nothing about the topic of the vote! Then a major brawl erupted, which only paused when the boys announced their find.

Dr. Mephesto and Kevin had dedicated themselves to the task of unfreezing the ice man's body with hair dryers. As the ice melted away, Dr. Mephesto ruminated on the potential significance of their project: "He could be a Neanderthal. Or an Australopithecus from the Paleolithic era. Do you see that, Kevin? These clothes are from Eddie Bauer. I haven't seen anybody wear clothes from Eddie Bauer since... 1996! This is incredible! Think of all we can learn from this body! All that it can teach us!"

Everyone expected the ice man to suffer shock when he found himself in the new society, and though he was speaking perfect English, no one seemed to understand him! After trying unsuccessfully to communicate, they resolved to call in a child to aide in bridging the gap.

As Mephesto explained to the agents, the habitat was designed to replicate the year 1996. They also had Ace of Base's "All That She Wants" blasting from a stereo. The ice man looked uncomfortable in his forced surroundings, and that discomfort was only magnified when Mephesto started allowing public viewing of the ice man in his habitat.

Larry was passing a television store which was playing Marilyn Manson's music videos on its screens. Something about the sound or image aggravated Larry and he broke through the glass window, pulled the television set from its display and smashed in on the ground!

She didn't even remember him. She told him she'd moved on after four days and remarried. She even had kids with the new man! Larry was resigned and left his wife to her new life.

Kyle brought Larry a pamphlet advertising the city of Des Moines and pointed out how the whole place seemed stuck in time and was three years behind. Larry looked at the pictures contentedly and called it "home." Just as he was preparing to leave, though, the agents spotted Larry from their helicopter and engaged Steve Irwin to track him down!

Cartman was playing "Crocodile Hunter" and pretended the cow was a "king croc." He planned to emulate Steve Irwin by sticking his thumb in the cow's anus, but before he could do so, the cow sat on him, somehow getting Cartman stuck inside its anal cavity! Of course, Stan and Kyle had both abandoned him as a best friend so there was no one around to come to his rescue!
