Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. On what date did the episode originally air?

Answer: April 1st 1998

The air date was the reason for airing it. It was an April Fool's joke. The audience from the last episode of season 1 had waited to find out who Eric Cartman's dad was. Instead of airing the two part episode consecutively, Trey Parker and Matt Stone (co-creators) thought it would be funny to split it to make viewers wait even longer. The joke was not widely appreciated.
2. In the beginning of the episode, what is Terrance being tried for?

Answer: Murder

His "attorney" is Phillip and his opponent is Scott. Scott uses several pieces of evidence against Terrance. These include a haiku, a bloody hammer, and a clothing sample. Terrance and Phillip seemingly get off because of their humor, particularly fart humor.

It is revealed that these trials apparently occur weekly between the same folks. Scott tries to get Terrance thrown in jail weekly because he hates Terrance & Phillip's fart humor.
3. Following the trial, Terrance and Phillip head home to enjoy what kind of dinner?

Answer: Kraft

This seems to be the two's favorite cuisine. It is playing off a Canadian stereotype. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, marketed as Kraft Dinner in Canada, is consumed far more in Canada than it is in the United States where it is made. In the episode it is spelled and pronounced "Kroff" to make fun of stereotypical Canadian accent.
4. Upon arriving home, what does Terrance change into while Phillip makes the aforementioned dinner?

Answer: A pirate costume

Terrance changes into a pirate costume for no apparent reason. After this, a package arrives for him. Phillip signs for it and the two discover that Terrance and Celine Dion's love child has disappeared to Iraq, thus develops the main plot.
5. How long did it take Terrance to tell the story of his daughter?

Answer: 44 hours

Phillip seemed to be completely unphased by the length of the story. He pointed out that the most interesting part was about Celine Dion. Of course, he said "aboot," once again playing off of Canadian stereotype.
6. Who calls Scott about killing Terrance and Phillip?

Answer: Saddam Hussein

Saddam Hussein has an unusually high voice in South Park. He commonly says things like "Relax, guy" or "You need a rest, fella" or any variation thereof. He is later revealed to have an abusive relationship with Satan. Satan kills him in the movie, but he comes back to Hell remarking, "Where was I gonna go, Detroit?" in the episode "Do Handicaps Go to Hell?".
7. Upon returning to Canada from saving Terrance's daughter, what has commenced?

Answer: A hostile takeover of Canada

Saddam is confronted a few times about his progressive takeover, responding with his catch phrase, "Relax, buddy! You just need a rest!" One of his first actions in his takeover is the attainment of a pop vocalist. He kidnaps Celine Dion and takes her hostage to later finalize the takeover by singing his national anthem.
8. Who is Celine Dion with upon her capture?

Answer: Ugly Bob

Ugly Bob had been disguised with a paper bag over his head to make him appear less ugly, but he was revealed prior to this scene. Celine Dion decided to stay with him. He called himself Handsome Bob at first. Handsome Dan is from the movie "Wayne's World 2" and was a radio DJ. Tyrone Biggums is from "Chappelle's Show" and is a comical crack addict. I completely made up Pale-faced Fred.
9. Many people in the episode can't tell the difference between which two countries?

Answer: Iraq and Iran

Saddam, among others, can be quoted as saying, "Iraq, Iran, what the Hell's the difference?" It is also noticeable that Iraqis and Canadians look alike in that they have polygonal bodies and flapping heads. They also have at least mildly exaggerated voices.
10. At the end of the episode, how do Terrance and Phillip destroy the threat to Canada (at the Roughriders football game)?

Answer: Chemical warfare

Yes, the two tell everyone that will be present at the game to bring gas masks. Everyone except Saddam and his men are protected from methane inhalation. The methane comes from the farts of everyone in the stadium, of course. As soon as Saddam and Celine entered the field to start the halftime show, Terrance and Phillip initiated the attack. Once Saddam was dead, Celine proceeded to sing "O Canada."
