1. Where is the first place the Doctor takes Ruby in "Space Babies"?

Answer: Prehistoric Wyoming

The Doctor and Ruby travel to 150 million BCE, where they see dinosaurs. Ruby steps on a butterfly and rewrites Earth history -- she is turned into a Silurian. The Doctor revives the butterfly and things return to normal.

The Doctor took both Rose and Amy to space stations and Martha Jones to meet Shakespeare. As for Gallifrey, the Master destroyed it in a massive genocide.
2. What is the name of the Captain in "Space Babies"?

Answer: Poppy

Poppy is played by Senna Robyn Phipps and Maranga Phipps and voiced by Shola Olaitan-Ajiboye. She is the leader of a team of babies who have been abandoned and left to fend for themselves on a space station.
3. What is the name of the crew member who stayed to look after the children?

Answer: Jocelyn Sancerre

Jocelyn Sancerre was played by Golda Rosheuvel. When the rest of the crew abandoned the station, Jocelyn stayed, hiding out in a cargo bay.

Golda Rosheuvel has been acting since 2000. Longtime Whovians may remember her as Dr Angela Connolly on "Torchwood" in 2008. More recently, she was Queen Charlotte on the period drama "Bridgerton" (2020-23).

As for the other choices, each served as a nanny at some point in time.
4. Which baby bravely confronted the monster?

Answer: Eric

Brave Eric was played by Mason McCumskey and voiced by Sami Amber. He tried to take on the Bogeyman solo and had to be rescued by the other babies.

Answer: Flamethrower

One of the things Poppy has in her bag of tricks is a flamethrower. It scares off the monster, at least in the short term.
6. What is the Boogeyman made out of?

Answer: Boogers

The Doctor discovers, to his horror and disgust, that the monster they are fighting is made of the discarded boogers from the babies. Ruby is even more freaked out, as she has large quantities of monster goop in her hair.

In a change of pace, the Doctor actually SAVED the monster from being blown out of an airlock.
7. What gas did the Doctor use to propel the space station in "Space Babies"?

Answer: Methane

Methane is one of the simplest of gases, one carbon atom surrounded by four hydrogen atoms. It is one of the most common gases on Earth, and is a significant greenhouse gas, contributing to global warming.

Methane is created by geological and biological processes. In the case of "Space Babies" by the decomposing of several years of diapers. The Doctor is able to vent the methane to steer the space station towards a planet where the babies can find sanctuary.
8. What is the name of Ruby Sunday's grandmother?

Answer: Cherry

Cherry Sunday is played by Angela Wynter. The Jamaican born actress spent five years on the soap opera "EastEnders" (2003-2008). Wynter has acted regularly in film and television since 1983.

Cherry is Ruby's adopted grandmother. The Doctor and Ruby visit her mother Carla and Cherry on Christmas.
9. What disturbing warning sign do we see aboard the TARDIS at the very end of "Space Babies"?

Just as the Doctor leaves the TARDIS, it begins to snow. This is shortly after the Doctor tells Ruby they can never visit the night she was left at the church because it could create a massive paradox.

Answer: Julie Anne Robinson

Julie Anne Robinson directed. Her resume stretches back to 2000, on television in both the US and UK, including five episodes of "Grey's Anatomy".

Millie Gibson is Ruby Sunday, the new companion. The actress got her start ln "Jamie Johnson" (2017-18) and spent time on the soap opera "Coronation Street" (2019-22).

Vicki Delow is one of the new producers at "Doctor Who", brought on board by Russell Davies. Her past credits include "Humans" and "The Last Kingdom".

Robert Strange was the stunt man in the Bogeyman costume. He also has being an orc in "Lord of the Rings" on his resume.
