The funeral for Mayor Walker is a somber scene with everyone dressed in black and carrying black umbrellas due to the rainy weather. Wednesday narrates that she has enjoyed attending and crashing funerals ever since she was able to read obituaries. She studies how people deal with grief while she attends them but once the dirt hits the casket, she leaves.

Answer: Eugene's bees

While at Mayor Walker funeral, Wednesday notices a figure watching her that runs away as she makes eye contact. She eventually catches up to Uncle Fester who tells her that he has to lay low as he is wanted by the authorities in Boston. They hide out at the beekeeping club quarters and Fester tries to eat some of the honeybees there. Wednesday has to tell him several times that she is watching the bees for a friend and that they are not to be eaten.

Answer: Hyde

Uncle Fester tells Wednesday that the monster is known as a Hyde and Wednesday connects the name to the novella "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" that was written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1886. Similar to that story, the Hyde terrorizing the town of Jericho has a human host that can turn into a monster when a traumatic event occurs but eventually the Hyde can come out when the host desires and do the host's bidding.

Answer: Kalamazoo

Thing puts Uncle Fester in a chokehold when they reunite and Fester tells him that the situation in Kalamazoo was nothing personal. it seems that Fester and Thing had a checkered past of robberies and other mischief. Later in the episode, Thing would help Wednesday Addams by cracking a safe in the Nightshade Library to retrieve the diary of Nicholas Faulkner who drew and studied monsters like the Hyde.

Answer: Xavier

When Wednesday accuses Xavier of being the Hyde due to him always being close to the scene when an attack occurs Xavier exclaims "I didn't realize proximity was a crime". For some time the Hyde had been haunting Xavier's dreams so Xavier drew it numerous times to help relieve its hold on him. Later in the episode Xavier is arrested after evidence is found from the Hyde's victims in his art studio but Xavier claims he was framed.

Answer: Dalmatian spotted motorbike with a sidecar

Uncle Fester drives around in a dalmatian spotted motorbike with a sidecar that Wednesday finds extremely impractical if he is trying to lay low. Wednesday jumps in the sidecar portion as they follow Xavier and see him talking with Dr. Kinbott. Shortly after Fester leaves town as it is discovered that he is in Jericho.

Answer: Hypnotherapy

Dr. Kinbott is a psychiatrist which Wednesday points out makes her the perfect person to assist in transforming the Hyde's human host into the monster. Dr. Kinbott knows hypnotherapy (which can trigger a human host to transform into the Hyde) and she can freely enter hospitals and other locations without people suspecting her of anything. Furthermore, Wednesday accuses Dr. Kinbott of being an alias for Laurel Gates who was presumed dead decades ago.

Answer: Legally Blonde

Tyler romantically arranges lights and a picnic setup for him and Wednesday and has a projector playing the film "Legally Blonde" for the two of them as he knows she'll find it horror-ble. Their date is interrupted by Tyler's father, Sheriff Galpin, when he enters the crypt and tells them that they have to leave.

Answer: Dr. Kinbott

After Wednesday makes accusations to Dr. Kinbott about her aiding the Hyde in its transformations through hypnotherapy, Dr. Kinbott tells her she is out of line and recommends that she be transferred to a psychiatric school. Dr. Kinbott tries to contact Principal Weems and discuss the situation with Wednesday but she is slashed and killed by the Hyde.

Earlier in the night Tyler confessed that he wanted to be more than friends with Wednesday but she did not reciprocate. However, at closing time for Weathervane Cafe she finds Tyler and her body language shows him that she wants to be serious with him as well.

The two share a kiss during which Wednesday has a vision of Tyler as the Hyde killing Dr. Kinbott. It is not known at this time whether this vision of Wednesday's is accurate.
