Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. At the start of the adventure, Link awakens in which of these?

Answer: The Shrine of Resurrection

With little memory to run with, Link awakens in the Shrine of Resurrection, found in a cavern high on a cliffside in the middle of Hyrule. It's there that he'll collect the Sheikah Slate, an important item he can use to better face off against the difficult challenges Hyrule will place in front of him.

He'll emerge onto the Great Plateau and the world will lay out before him, but there's still a fair bit to do before he ventures beyond this starting area, and that means speaking to an Old Man near the Great Plateau's tower.
2. Once Link fills out some of the Runes in his Sheikah Slate, he'll receive which of these from the spirit of King Rhaom in the Temple of Time?

Answer: Paraglider

After letting the Great Plateau Tower get reactivated, Link will be directed to visit a small handful of shrines in the area to collect the power of the Cryonis, Magnesis, and Stasis Runes. Once this is done, he'll be directed back to the Temple of Time where he can climb up to an upper chamber and meet back up with the Old Man from earlier.

It's here that Link will be told that he is the Hero of Hyrule, sent away for one hundred years to return, fight the Calamity, and save Princess Zelda. He'll be given a Paraglider and told to head east to start his quest in earnest, but really, the world will be open to him in full.

He can go anywhere and unearth whatever he needs to fight the final foe.
3. Where can Link locate Impa?

Answer: Kakariko Village

The best direction to head away from the Great Plateau, once Link gets his Paraglider, will likely be east since his best information will point him towards Kakariko Village. The person he's looking for is Impa, who resides in a house near Lantern Falls, since she's the next key to unlocking his memories of what happened a hundred years ago. Sure enough, she'll set him on the journey and tell him to look for the Divine Beasts around Hyrule, each affected by Ganon's Calamity, so that he can free them from its evil grasp. If he can stop all four, he'll become more powerful and have more at his disposal to stop Ganon in battle.
4. Divine Beast Vah Ruta, found in the Zora Domain, is shaped like which of these?

Answer: Elephant

The road to Divine Beast Vah Ruta begins with locating the Zora Prince, Sidon, on the river en route to his home city. His direction will bring Link into the region north of the Lanayru Range where he can learn how to swim up waterfalls and, riding on Sidon's back, gain access into the elephant-shaped beast that used to be guarded by Link's past love, Mipha. If he can navigate the beast and stop Waterblight Ganon inside its deepest chamber, he can remove the Calamity from the creation and it can stand guard on the cliffs nearby. Link will be bestowed with Mipha's Grace to protect him from harm before he continues on.
5. Divine Beast Vah Rudania is found in a region populated by which of these?

Answer: The Gorons

To face Vah Rudania, Link needs to suit up in an outfit that protects him from the heat and he needs to scale the sides of Death Mountain. Heading there, and with the help of Yunobo, he'll be able to ascend to the top and get into the lizard-like Divine Beast waiting near the crater.

It'll be a unique dungeon where Link will have to use his Sheikah Slate to turn the beast on its side to navigate and access all of the terminals within. All of it will lead to a face-off against Fireblight Ganon and, if he succeeds, he'll claim Daruk's Protection and set the Beast's sights on Hyrule Castle.
6. Which of these locations will Link need to visit en route to Divine Beast Vah Medoh?

Answer: Flight Range

Heading to the northwest, Link will eventually come across the Rito Village, high on a rocky precipice near the edge of the snowcapped mountains in the far corner of Hyrule. Once more, Link will have the opportunity to aid the locals, this time by flying out to the Flight Range and grabbing their most capable warrior to assist in taking to the skies and infiltrating Divine Beast Vah Medoh, a bird-like guardian of Hyrule. Windblight Ganon will be the goal in this dungeon, but with proper maneuvering, Link will succeed and claim Revali's Gale before continuing on.
7. Before visiting Divine Beast Vah Naboris, Link will need to collect which of these items to access the dungeon?

Answer: Thunder Helm

Accessing Vah Naboris can be a bit difficult as Link's ability to access stretches throughout this portion of the quest can be limited. First Link needs to get to the desert in the far southwest, then when he's there, he needs specific clothing to get into the Forbidden City of the Gerudo. If he gets in, his quest will take him to the Yiga Clan of Karusa Valley to claim the Thunder Helm, and only with that can he and Rija, the Gerudo leader, start the fight to access Vah Naboris.

The dungeon inside will lead him to Thunderblight Ganon and another battle to free the Champion of the region, in this case Urbosa.
8. Link can get his hands on the Master Sword, but only after navigating which of these locations?

Answer: Lost Woods

Although you can pursue this before completing the Divine Beasts (as the only major requirement is having thirteen Heart Containers), it makes sense with all of the hints given by respective chiefs that the Hero of legend should head to the Great Hyrule Forest to reclaim the item that's rightfully his. If he can find his way through the thick fog of the Lost Woods (fire helps!) then he'll come to the glads of Korok Forest, meet the Great Deku Tree, and take a shot at recovering the Master Sword from the plinth where Princess Zelda left it.
9. Link can only access Hyrule Castle if he's freed all four divine Beasts from Ganon's Malice.

Answer: False

Technically, Link can head to Hyrule Castle at any time but his abilities might not be up to snuff until he's done a bit of work cleaning up the messes caused across Hyrule. There are many different ways to get into Hyrule Castle, all of which will take Link through different parts of the structure (and the outlying town ruins), but if Link defeats the different iterations of Ganon found inside the four Divine Beasts, the Champions of each region will contribute their powers to the fight, lowering Calamity Ganon's health by half if all four are involved.
10. Where will Link face off against Dark Beast Ganon?

Answer: Hyrule Field

If Link finds his way to the Sanctum of Hyrule Castle and defeats Calamity Ganon, the fight won't be over. Instead, he'll be teleported out to Hyrule Field to hop aboard his trusty steed, don a Bow of Light bestowed upon him by Princess Zelda, and face off against the game's true final boss, Dark Beast Ganon, whose powers of malice will destroy Hyrule altogether if not kept in check. If Zelda and Link work together and Link strikes all of the weak spots around Ganon's massive body, he can take one last shot at its weakest point and bring an end to Ganon's stranglehold. With that, Hyrule will be saved once again.
