Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. To head towards Divine Beast Vah Medoh, you'd need to head in which compass direction (if you started in the middle of Hyrule)?

Answer: Northwest

If you choose to pursue this Divine Beast your travels will push you northwest to Tabantha Region, a windswept and borderline snow-covered extreme that'll push Link to new limits. Although this area of the map may seem to be a bit foreboding as the lush fields and forests of Central Hyrule give way to plateaus and canyons, the landscape will eventually give way to an adventurous region that takes full advantage of, especially, the ability to soar through the skies.
2. The elder of Rito Village, Kaneli, will recognize your capabilities when he sees which of these?

Answer: Sheikah Slate

If Link can make his way to the islands high above Lake Totori he'll find not only Divine Beast Van Medoh circling in the skies, but Rito Village below, perched on the cliffs. Kaneli, the Rito Village elder, will be near the top and he'll quickly recognize that Link's possession of the Sheikah Slate makes him well-equipped for the issues at hand.

While Kaneli's citizens attempt to calm down the Divine Beast on their own, Link can swoop in with much-needed assistance. To do that, though, Link will need to locate Teba, one of their more adamant warriors, and give him some help; his wife, Saki, will know where to find him.
3. Teba's wife, Saki, will tell Link to locate her husband at which location?

Answer: Flight Range

Saki will send Link to the Flight Range in Dronoc's Pass at the base of the Hebda Mountains, a location where Rito warriors prepare for aerial combat. Fortunately, Link can fly there from Revali's Landing (Revali, of course, being the Rito champion of the past, who aided Link before Calamity Ganon attacked Hyrule). Link will recall him upon while gazing at the platform.

When Link arrives at the Flight Range, he'll find Teba there tending to a bow and the challenge before them can begin.
4. Teba will reward Link with the Falcon Bow and which of these types of arrows, necessary for accessing the entrance to Divine Beast Vah Medoh?

Answer: Bomb Arrows

At the Flight Range, Link will need to put his Paraglider to good use, diving into the ravine of updrafts in the ravine to hone his aerial archery skills like the Rito warriors. Here, he'll need to fly, aim, and shoot to destroy five targets in the valley in under three minutes (it's not difficult-- there are tons).

After, Teba will suggest you two head out quickly. In the meantime, however, he's modified a bow you can use-- the Falcon Bow, which has a better rate of fire in aerial combat. You'll need it along with the twenty Bomb Arrows he'll pack along to assault Vah Medoh.
5. When assaulting Divine Beast Vah Medoh attempting to gain entry, you'll have to shoot and destroy four of which of these, bringing down its shields?

Answer: Cannons

If Link and Teba approach Vah Medoh, its cannons, not unlike Guardian beams, will blast them out of the sky. The Divine Beast will put up a protective barrier to mitigate entry attempts, but the turrets it uses to defend itself will be on its exterior, giving Link the opportunity to force his way in. To deal with this road block, Teba will fly Link into range and the hero will need to leap into the sky, using his Paraglider to slow-fall, draw his bow, and fire Bomb Arrows at the cannons-- one of which is at each compass point.

A couple Bomb Arrows per cannon will destroy them. Link will be able to enter while Teba will fly back to the ground and await the results.
6. How many terminals will Link be required to clear in Divine Beast Vah Medoh?

Answer: Five

Upon arriving on Divine Beast Vah Medoh, Link will be greeted by the spirit of Revali who'll send him in to find the map at the Guidance Stone deep within. The Guidance Stone is fairly easy to reach since it's straight inward from the entrance, allowing Link to hop a few gaps and very minimally get his hands dirty before having full access to the map of the dungeon. Following this he'll need to access the five terminals found throughout the beast to access the boss.
7. Once Link has access to the map of Vah Medoh, he can affect the Divine Beast to do which of the following?

Answer: Tilt it

The Guidance Stone has a third function for Link aside from providing a map and allowing him to find the terminals; it also grants him access to the controls for the magical machine. In the case of Vah Medoh, it will allow Link to tilt the beast as it flies around in Hyrule, canting the dungeon to the left or right as he pleases. Doing so will enable even large objects to shift in a certain direction.

There are three settings, ultimately: left, right, and even keel.
8. The evil found at the end of Link's visit to Divine Beast Vah Medoh is known as which of these?

Answer: Windblight Ganon

Perhaps one of the tougher Ganon bosses to encounter in the game, Windblight Ganon emerges from the master controls of Divine Beast Vah Medoh and is, according to Revali, a bit of an unfair foe. In addition to firing Guardian shots at Link, this creature will cast large tornadoes of wind which can do a significant amount of damage. All of this will be coupled with what will be, for the most part, an aerial battle as Link will have to use the air jets from the ground to launch into the air and fire at the boss from a height.

At the halfway mark of the battle, the boss will let off turrets as well, and you'll have to be super evasive to make it to the end of the fight.
9. Revali's Gale will allow Link to leap into the air on a gust of wind. How many charges does he have at a maximum?

Answer: Three

Once Link is finally able to activate the main control unit atop Divine Beast Vah Medoh, the Champion of the region, Revali, will appear before him and give commendation for his success, bestowing upon the hero his sacred skill, Revali's Gale. What this does is let Link leap into the air on a gust of wind as though a charged jump (by holding X). Link has three charges of this at a time, so it's important to use it when it's most advantageous.

After this, Link will be teleported back to the surface of Hyrule while Revali and Vah Medoh will take position atop the nearby mountains, perching to focus their power on Calamity Ganon's defences.
10. The Great Eagle Bow used to belong to who of these?

Answer: Revali

Following the clearing of Vah Medoh, Link will be brought back to Rito Village and can quickly wrap up this part of the main quest with a talk with Kaneli. Kaneli, who always saw the potential in Link, will have little to say but he will point Link to a nearby chest, granting him the possession of Revali's old bow, the Great Eagle Bow, which has the ability to shoot three arrows in one go. Before Link leaves, Kaneli will give one more suggestion: getting the sword that sleeps in darkness. You'd need to visit the Lost Woods for that.
