Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. -Sluz

Answer: Glava (Head)

While 'Glava' means 'Head', 'Sluz' is the Serbian word for 'Slime'. When this J'avo is attacked in the head it will morph and reform to create a version of itself that can shoot a slimy web that entraps the player. All three J'avo campaigns (Chris', Jake's, and Ada's) see the Glava-Sluz at some point or another, often amongst larger groups when they can do the most damage through their hinderance.
2. -Smech

Answer: Glava (Head)

'Smech', being the Serbian word for 'laughter', is a hint to this mutation's capability. If Chris or Ada hit a J'avo in the head it has a chance of forcing the Glava-Smech mutation, creating a pincer-like head. When the Glava-Smech runs at the player it'll try to bite and clamp down to do its damage, but anyone can put this being down by shooting it at its weak point, an orange orb in its mouth.
3. -Begunats

Answer: Glava (Head)

The Serbian word 'Begunats' translates to 'runaway', and though this is another mutation that affects the head, part of this variant's power is derived from its intact lower body which it uses to constantly brigade the player, swinging weapons without relenting in its attacks.

More common in Mercenaries Mode, the Glava-Begunats still appears in Chris, Jake, and Ada's campaigns, albeit not too often.
4. -Dim

Answer: Glava (Head)

The Glava-Dim is a combination of the Serbian for 'Head' and 'Smoke'. While this J'avo does use smoke to attack enemies (or at least something like it), it's perhaps more recognizable for its transformation, creating two hornet-like appendages on the side of a newly-formed head when the first one is destroyed.

In combat, it emits a red mist that damages the player. Chris won't encounter it in his campaign though Jake and Ada will in theirs.
5. -Srp

Answer: Ruka (Arm)

Perhaps the most common of the arm transformations seen in the game, the Ruka-Srp is created when sustained damage causes the J'avo's arms to morph into dangerous sickles capable of slicing prey when up-close (or when the J'avo charges in). In some cases, both arms can transform if they sustain enough damage, creating a foe that's able to strike multiple times in succession.

These appear often in Chris' campaign.
6. -Khvatanje

Answer: Ruka (Arm)

With a name loosely translating to 'Arm' and 'Capture', the Ruka-Khvatanje is created when damage sustained to the arms causes the J'avo to morph into a foe that's compelled to grab its prey. While simply a bother when faced on its own, it's a detriment in larger-scale fights with multiple enemies, forcing players to fight out of its grasp as other foes close in. Chris and Ada both encounter these more than Jake.
7. -Bedem

Answer: Ruka (Arm)

Translating to 'Arm-Wall', the Ruka-Bedem is only faced by Chris in his campaign, likely because Chris and Piers use heavy firepower on most occasions and these J'avo evolve to suit. When damaged in the arms, these J'avo react by creating a wall of armor, proceeding forward in fights as though moving with a police shield. Up close, the Ruka-Bedem will strike or shoot but from a distance they'll charge to knock into your character.

They're vulnerable from behind, naturally.
8. -Trchanje

Answer: Noga (Leg)

'Trchanje', translating from the Serbian word for 'Work', is a good descriptor for this J'avo which, when attacked at the legs, morphs to become an almost-arachnid creature capable of moving around (even on ceilings and walls) on multiple legs. Though these creatures can fight up close, they can also use their still-human arms to fire weaponry like a normal J'avo soldier. Ada will never encounter these foes though Chris will quite a bit in Lanshiang.
9. -Let

Answer: Noga (Leg)

Who needs legs at all, right? Noga-Let is capable of doing away with legs entirely since it disposes of them in times of great duress and relies instead on a thorax and pair of wings that take their place. One of the only enemies in the game to be capable of flight, the Noga-Let appears most in Jake's campaign though it appears in Lanshiang for Chris and Ada as well.

The weak point on this creature is the J'avo's original head which, in its new form, dangles below the moth half.
10. -Skakanje

Answer: Noga (Leg)

Found by Chris and Jake, though rarely as they only appear near the tenements in China, Noga-Skakanje are characterized by their upgraded legs since their human appendages are replaced by stronger, more muscular legs that make it seem like they've mutated into a grasshopper. Quite skittish and highly mobile, the Noga-Skakanje can be stopped in its tracks with a Flash Grenade; it's an especially effective method when they appear in larger numbers.
11. -Oklop

Answer: Noga (Leg)

The Noga-Oklop is only encountered by Chris unless playing in Mercenaries Mode, and only when he and Piers are in Edonia during the campaign's second chapter. These leg-affected J'avo variants are distinguishable because of their heavily-armored legs, protected by thick carapaces made from bone.

Despite the extra heft, these J'avo can still charge players, attacking at close range with blades or from further with firearms.
12. -Eksplozija

Answer: Telo (Torso)

The Telo-Eksplozija is another Chris exclusive (outside of Mercenaries Mode) and it's a torso-specific creature, transforming when it sustains damage to its bulk and simply going kamikaze. When attacked enough, this J'avo will begin its transformation in a distinct way, morphing into an explosive with the capability of wiping out everything in a small radius. Though this can be extremely dangerous up close, a player who takes it out at a distance could also use this creature to their advantage, taking out other enemies. Chris won't fight these until he's on the aircraft carrier in Chapter 4 or, later, the underwater lab of Chapter 5.
13. -Krljusht

Answer: Telo (Torso)

The most difficult J'avo mutations to find in the game, the Telo-Krljusht is created in Jake's campaign, at least in the first couple of chapters in Edonia, when the enemy's torso is shot. In this transformation, the torso takes on a hard shell not unlike the legs of the Noga-Oklop.

This means that in order to do significant damage, you'll need to hit anywhere else on the J'avo's body-- the head or the appendages-- to bring it down.
14. -Magla

Answer: Telo (Torso)

Although moderately common, the Telo-Magla is far from the most concerning of the J'avo transformations, appearing when an enemy's torso is damaged, but seeming to put it in a worse state than what it started with. The Telo-Magla will fall over, transform, and let out a poisonous gas, but quickly revert to a human shape (albeit weaker than it started). Compared to others, it's easy to pick off.

This one appears in Chris, Jake, and Ada's stories.
