Answer: The President

On June 29 2013, Leon finds himself in thetown of Tall Oaks, killing the President in Ivy University's offices. With Helena Harper by his side, the two receive word from agent Ingrid Hunnigan that they need to evacuate as the city's infection is spreading too fast. Helena, however, indicates that they need to get to Tall Oaks Cathedral to find answers; she knows that the source of the infection is likely there.

What results is a race out of Ivy University's campus. Learning that an evil fog came from nowhere, the two determine that the bio-terrorist attack is one that's going to be impossible to avoid having to deal with. And sure enough, as the two try to drive off, they're forced out of their vehicle and into the sewers...and the subway.

Answer: Bus

After navigating their way through the sewer and subway, Leon and Helena make their way back into the streets encountering more and more new foes, previously unseen in Leon's past missions. They'll pass through buildings, alleys, and street fights before taking refuge in a gun shop, banding together with a small number of other survivors.

Their ultimate goal is simply to survive and make it out to a bus on the adjacent street. If they can get out there and stop the Whoppers and Bloodshots from standing in their way, they can get on the road and head to the Tall Oaks Cathedral at last.

Answer: Laboratories

Leon and Helena take the bus all the way to the Tall Oaks Cathedral, successfully reaching their destination, but not before the bus careens over a cliff and all of the other survivors get killed in the ensuing chaos. They end up fighting their way inside to find another group of survivors, but the meeting is short-lived when an all-new creature, a Lepotitsa, kills and transforms the others into more of the undead.

They have no choice but to forge through into the labs within a secret door found beneath the cathedral's altar.

Answer: Deborah

As Leon and Helena learn more about their predicament, they come to discover that a group known as Neo-Umbrella claimed responsibility for the attack in Tall Oaks and that Derek C. Simmons, the National Security Advisor, may have been responsible. Their search brings them down into the labs, however, because Helena recommended it as their lead (though she did have a hidden agenda).

Helena's real reason for visiting is to save her sister, Deborah, who they find in the mines below the labs. Unfortunately, Deborah transforms into an awful creature that the pair can only defeat with the help of Ada Wong, appearing as if from the dead to assist.

Answer: Ada

As Ada departs, she hands over an old family ring that he'll later discover belonged to Derek Simmons, and it'll come in handy since he and Helena will emerge from the mines into an expansive underground crypt containing the Simmons family plot. It'll also come out that Helena, not knowing the full nature of Simmons' treachery and Neo-Umbrella's attack on Tall Oaks, helped Simmons breach the President's security, leading to he circumstances that killed her sister.

The pair will have no choice but to descend deeper beneath Tall Oaks to find a way out...but it gets worse for them.

Answer: Underwater

Eventually the caves and tunnels beneath the labs will start to cave in and both Leon and Helena will be grabbed by a massive, underwater creature known as Brzak. The two will, if they survive the underwater caves and the beast, emerge into a lake on the outskirts of Tall Oaks just in time to see the jets flying by, dropping explosives to wipe out all evidence of the bio-terrorist attack. Hunnigan levels with them when she gets the opportunity-- Simmons is off to China, but she knows that this and the events in China all have the same hallmarks as an outbreak that happened in Europe six months earlier involving something known as the C-Virus. Leon asks Hunnigan to fake their deaths; it'll give them the buffer they need to catch a plane to China.

Answer: No

With the events of Tall Oaks somewhat behind them, Leon and Helena take a flight to Lanshiang, China in pursuit of Derek Simmons. It's not an easy trip-- it takes very little time before they uncover the presence of a Lepotitsa in the cockpit and they have to scour the plane to fix the aircraft before it crashes.

It does anyways. Oops.

But it does allow them to land in Lanshiang as the plane's only survivors and come across Sherry Birkin and Jake Muller, both of whom are being chased by a creature known as Ustanak. It results in a four-person fight against the creature and a forced split up when it's all said and done. Everyone promises to reunite at the Kwun Lung building, where Simmons is expected to be.

Answer: A moving train

Leon and Helena have a rough go heading through Lanshiang, heading through an outdoor market teeming with regenerative creatures and then a security building protected by none other than the mysterious Ada Wong. They'll arrive onsite at the same time as BSAA agents Chris and Piers and while Leon and Helena will head off in pursuit of Simmons, the others will chase Ada.

It'll escalate, too. Leon and Helena will reunite, temporarily, with Sherry and Jake, but Simmons will be shot with a C-Virus syringe and transform, leading Leon and Helena to fight him on the roof of a moving train. Eventually they'll defeat him, letting the train run over him, derail, and toss them into the river. The situation goes from bad to worse, but at least they survive the disaster.

Answer: A C-Virus missile

Leon and Helena, surfacing and going ashore in Tatchi, arrive there just in time for the worst to happen. As a missile unleashes aerosolized C-Virus on the city, they discover that Sherry and Jake, Albert Wesker's son, have been kidnapped and taken to an undersea oilfield eighty miles away. Leon and Helena continue on though the city in search of a way out (and their survival), learning that Ada Wong is dead, but that changes when the pair catch sight of her in a helicopter.

What follows is the pair navigating through the city with the help of the army, and before long they end up at the building where they're meant to rendezvous and find a way out. The catch is that Simmons never died on the bridge...and he's waiting there for them.

Answer: Lightning

As Simmons continues to transform, Leon and Helena have no choice but to fight back and ascend to the roof of the building to meet up with Ada. The circumstances result in them needing to literally climb the structure as the elevator tears from the building. The fight doesn't end there though; Simmons returns, fighting Leon and Ada on the pedestrian bridge, and then he returns one more time in a terrifying insectoid form on the roof. If they can force Simmons to grab a conductive lightning rod, they can put a near-end to him and find a gift left behind by Ada-- a rocket launcher-- to send him plunging him off the skyscraper, impaling him on an obelisk to kill him once and for all.

As one last gift, Ada will leave behind a memory card containing evidence proving Simmons' guilt (and Leon's and Helena's innocence) behind the events transpiring in Tall Oaks. Fortunately, Hunnigan will also call to inform the duo that a way has been found to defeat the C-Virus.

Mission accomplished.
