Answer: Helena's sister

Leon and Helena's trip through Tall Oaks actually begins with the death of the President when he's transformed into an undead being. What follows is a mad dash out of the city with the pair facing off against early C-Virus creations of all sorts, and the pair end up at a cathedral, the entrance to a subterranean laboratory and caverns beneath where they uncover traces of Ada Wong's involvement, locate a transformed version of Helena's sister, Deborah, and find all signs pointing to Lanshiang, China, where the real reason behind the plot, Derek K. Simmons, is planning something new. Tall Oaks is brought to a swift end, not unlike Raccoon City, but Leon and Helena have a new mission.

Answer: By helicopter

Crash landing into Lanshiang and coming across a number of familiar faces, Leon and Helena finish the mission they set out to complete when they come across Derek K. Simmons. Unfortunately for them (and him), Simmons is attacked with a vial of concentrated C-Virus, transforming him into an awful creature minutes before the city is attacked with weaponized C-Virus vapours, not unlike Tall Oaks. All of this will culminate in a trip to the roof of a skyscraper in Tatchi where not only will Leon and Helena need to put an end to Simmons, but work with Ada to survive.

In the end, the pair will ascend to the helipad, use a well-placed rocket launcher to destroy their foe, take off in a chopper, and use some safely-stowed evidence to clear their names.

Answer: Edonia

Though most of Chris' campaign will take him to Lanshiang and beyond, his story will really start in Edonia, a small country in Eastern Europe where Neo-Umbrella has let loose its C-Virus as a test-run. He and his squad of BSAA soldiers will descend into Edonia and face off against an early wave of transformed soldiers, going head-to-head not only with massive B.O.W. creations, but all variants of created beings.

In the end, Chris and Piers, his right-hand operative, will be some of the only survivors of the squad, the rest being killed or transformed by a woman who appears to be Ada Wong. Chris will go into an alcoholic tailspin until Piers locates him and brings him back into the fold to investigate activities in China.

Answer: He dies

History will start to repeat for Chris and Piers as they head through Lanshiang, and while they'll reunite with Jake and Sherry, previously met in Edonia, they'll also cross paths with Leon and Helena in their pursuit of Ada Wong. The pair will split off from the others, chasing after her all the way to an aircraft carrier as it heads out to sea to execute the next step of the C-Virus plan though, with some luck, they'll be able to prevent outright catastrophe. Chris will watch as their quarry is brought down by an unknown assailant and, despite their best efforts, a missile will still strike Tatchi on the mainland.

There's one last loose end, however, as Chris and Piers will need to head to Neo-Umbrella's offshore, underwater lab to save Jake and Sherry and stop the last ace up Ada's sleeve-- a massive engineered B.O.W. known as HAOS. Though they'll be able to stop it, Piers will need to infect himself with the C-Virus to do so, sacrificing himself to get Chris to safety and save the world.

Answer: Albert Wesker

Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin's campaign will start in Edonia where the latter will be looking specifically for the former, a mercenary working with Neo-Umbrella's men to claim the city. While the others transform, however, Jake won't, and his best chance at survival will be to work with the U.S. agent and Chris Redfield of the BSAA to ensure he survives. His blood, however, will be the key; Sherry believes it contains the antibodies to stop the C-Virus.

The pair's attempted escape from Edonia will be foiled by a massive B.O.W. known as the Ustanak, and while they'll nearly make it out in a plane, they'll crash down in the mountains and fight their way to a new rendezvous site only to be foiled again by a woman claiming to be Ada Wong. She'll be the one to reveal the truth-- that Jake Muller is the son of Albert Wesker-- before she takes them both into her custody.

Answer: Yes

Escaping the detention center with the data in-hand, Jake and Sherry will emerge into Lanshiang, China and need to navigate the city with an outbreak already in progress. They'll reunite with Chris and Piers along the way (and Leon and Helena), but it'll all be en route to a rendezvous point where Sherry can hand over the information and they can get back to the States. The problem she finds is that her boss, Derek K. Simmons, is on Neo-Umbrella's side. By the time they face this fact, they're captured once again and brought to Neo-Umbrella's undersea lab.

Fortunately, Chris and Piers will follow them along to the lab, freeing the pair from captivity on their way to defuse the last of Neo-Umbrella's big plans (HAOS, specifically). Jake and Sherry will attempt to head back to the surface, but they'll face off one last time against the Ustanak, destroying it with ammo, a pit of lava, and a well-placed Magnum shot to the head. Jake's blood analysis will make it to the U.N. thanks to Leon and the info will synthesize a vaccine for the C-Virus, saving the world.

Answer: That she's been cloned

Receiving intel that there's information relevant to her hidden in a submarine in the North Atlantic, Ada will descend into the depths to uncover the truth, ultimately finding that Umbrella...or Neo-Umbrella... is up to something nefarious with its destructive creations. What she'll uncover not only in the sub (which is destroyed by the time she leaves it) but in Tall Oaks (shortly after it's subject to a C-Virus outbreak), is that Ada Wong has been called upon to hunt down Jake Muller and bring him into custody in Edonia. The problem is that she has no recollection of this.

Coming across a lab beneath Tall Oaks Cathedral (and reuniting with Leon S. Kennedy), she comes to determine that she's been led down this path by a woman who was birthed from a Chrysalid and looks exactly like her...and she's setting her up to be the scapegoat for a worldwide bioterrorist event. The next target: Lanshiang, China.

Answer: Derek K. Simmons

When Ada makes it to China she ends up dabbling in different components of everyone else's missions. Her first order of business is with Jake and Sherry, stepping in to help them take down the Ubistvo, a chainsaw-wielding foe that starts its rampage with Ada on a bus and train line. Her second is out at the port where she rides out to a military boat in an effort to meet her doppelgänger and cross paths with Chris and Piers. There, she ends up facing off against a woman named Carla Radames, who Simmons was successfully able to transform into Ada using the C-Virus, sending her on a mad quest for vengeance.

The final to-do is to head back to the mainland, exploring Tatchi after the missiles strike it. There, she assists Leon and Helena, aiding them as they battle against Simmons himself all the way up through the Quad Towers and to the pedestrian bridge high above the city. It's only by working with Leon that she can keep Simmons from halting her mission, allowing her to-- at long last-- clear her name and put an end to Carla's nefarious research, sending her lab up in flames as she departs.

Answer: Dog tags

Unlocked throughout the game, any player could customize their Dog Tags from a menu screen to best reflect their capabilities, preferences, achievements, and styles so that cooperative and team players could make more educated party members. Though these would get new information as a matter of course as players completed the main campaigns, they could also display information garnered from the several multiplayer modes released with the game.

Answer: Predator Mode

Although all of these play modes were options, Predator Mode allowed for the asymmetrical horror approach, putting one player in the role of the massive Ustanak and all others into the game as human participants. Either side could win, with the Ustanak player needing to kill the others and the humans simply needing to survive or bring down the beast.

Of note, Mercenaries made its reappearance in this game having been a staple of previous instalments. In Mercenaries specifically, higher scores would result in players receiving new costumes.
