"Xenoblade Chronicles 3" is set in Aionios, a land in a perpetual state of war between the nations of Keves and Agnus. Noah and Mio obtain unique powers on their journey across an open world. They gain tactical points when battling enemies with combat that includes both turn-based and real-time mechanics.

"Pokémon Legends: Arceus" allows players to choose either Akari or Rei depending on what gender the player wants to play as. The game has players traveling back in time on the island of Hokkaido during Japanese colonization. A total of 242 Pokémon are sought after in the game to try and complete the Pokédex (roster) of local creatures.

Arceus is classified as a Mythical Pokémon and it has a horse-like body. It is unique in the Pokémon world in that it is a Multitype which can allow it to change between fire, water, fairy, etc. types.

"Kirby and the Forgotten Land" is the thirteenth mainline game in the series starring the pink, marshmallow-like protagonist. The "Kirby" series is famous for its gameplay that involves inhaling enemies and objects and then taking on their abilities to progress through stages and solve puzzles. "Kirby and the Forgotten Land" is the first fully 3D game in the mainline series and in the game Waddle Dees are rescued from cages and returned back to their town.

"Splatoon 3" is the third game in the series and like its predecessors, players shoot colored ink. In different modes players try to either cover areas of the map with the colored ink or cover their opponents with ink. Players can choose to be Inklings or Octolings that will provide morph and other abilities based on which form is chosen.

In 2006 Nintendo released "Wii Sports" with the Wii system and it was a huge success that showcased the motion control of the game system. The fourth game in the Nintendo "Sports" series was "Nintendo Switch Sports" and one of its staple games was bowling. Players could choose to play in standard mode with the normal 10 frames with the goal of getting strikes and spares and a maximum score of 300.

However, the special bowling mode upped the ante by making it more difficult based on obstacles and forcing players to time their throws and use different spins.

In addition to bowling, by the end of 2022 "Nintendo Switch Sports" also included tennis, sword fighting (chambara), soccer, volleyball, badminton and golf.

"Persona 5" was originally released in 2016 and its presentation, story, gameplay and music were lauded and it won several game of the year awards. An enhanced version known as "Persona 5 Royal" was released on the Nintendo Switch in 2022 and it added two new characters to The Joker's group of misfit subconscious crime fighters known as the Phantom Thieves.

"Bayonetta 3" follows the exploits of Bayonetta as she uses her magical abilities and weapons to hunt down angels. The game featured mechanics that allowed special attacks when players chain together a certain number of attacks or perform dodges at the right time. Jennifer Hale voiced the title character after the game's initial voice lead, Hellena Taylor, turned down the role after a pay dispute.

"Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" was the second game in the acclaimed "Fire Emblem" series to be developed by Omega Force. In the game players control a mercenary named Shez on a journey that allows different paths and thus different storylines to an ultimate goal of defeating Byleth, the 'Ashen Demon'.

Omega Force was founded in 1996 in Japan by Akihiro Suzuki and Kenichi Ogasawara. In addition to developing nine "Dynasty Warriors" games between 1997 and 2018, the company also developed the hit "Hyrule Warriors" game that released in 2014 and featured characters from "The Legend of Zelda" series.

"Mario Strikers: Battle League" is the third game in the "Mario Strikers" series and like real soccer the goal (pun intended) is to score more points than the other team. That is pretty much where the similarities to real soccer end as the game allows aggressive fouls, there is no offisides penalty (or other penalties for that matter) and power-ups and obstacles abound to modify the gameplay.

"Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope" was a sequel to the 2017 game "Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle" and it involved turn-based strategy and combat. In the game players rescue both sparks and Rosalina from an evil entity known as Cursa. The protagonists like Mario, Luigi and Peach peacefully co-exist with the Rabbids and they work across different planets to search for Rosalina and defeat enemies.
