1. Welcome to the intro stage of "Megaman X". You begin by being dropped down at the beginning of the level. Where exactly does this level take place?

The game begins on a highway, which is surprisingly not uncommon for a "Megaman" or "Megaman X" game. The stage is the shortest and easiest and introduces players to the more common and basic enemies.

The "Mega Man" Games are all set in 'X' years. "Mega Man X" is set sometime during the twenty-second century.

Iris is the fist boss of Zero's Final Weapon stage. Colonel dies by X before you get to the Final Weapon. Magma Dragoon is one of the eight mavericks.

Unlike most games that have four or eight Upgrade capsules, this one has nine. However, you will only be using five of these, the four that do the normal upgrades and one of five that gives your upgrades enhancements. One of these enhancement capsules is located in the first Doppler stage, and, unlike the rest that only enhance one of your upgrades, this one enhances all of your upgrades and makes your armor turn golden.

Alia makes her first appearance in this game, and she constantly will interrupt the gameplay in order to explain things that are happening in the level. Double appeared in "Megaman X4" and was destroyed in that game, while Layer and Pallete did not appear until "Megaman X8".

Red Alert is a group of vigilantes, who took over when X stopped hunting Mavericks. They themselves have ended up going maverick when they are visited by "The Professor". There are nine of them in total, Red being their leader. Axl used to be a member as well.

Answer: The Double Attack

If you pay attention to the cutscene that occurs before the battle, Alia tells you that the boss is weak to the Double Attack, a technique that heavily damages a lot of enemies. The X buster does decent damage, as does the zero saber, and you need to break his shield before you can actually hurt him. You can't use Axl against him, sadly.

In "Mega Man X", Vile is waiting for you at the end of the level and is invulnerable to your attacks (good thing Zero saves you). This robot, however, is very easy to beat and shouldn't take you more than thirty seconds.

Of all the Mavericks, Ground Scaravich is the only Maverick to live in a museum or any type of related place. The stage is unique in the fact it is divided into a series of smaller rooms entered through teleporters.

Beating Chill Penguin covers the fire of Flame Mammoth's stage in snow. The waters of Launch Octopus' stage does not get affected but it floods Sting Sting Chameleon's stage. In Storm Eagle's stage nothing happens but it affects Spark Mandrill's when you beat him.

The lab originally belonged to Dr. Light, but Dr. Cain unearthed the lab and activated X. Zero is X's partner and is the leader of the Maverick Hunter Unit #0. Dr. Cain created the Reploid Sigma to be a Maverick Hunter but Sigma went Maverick and became the main villain of the "Megaman X" series.

Sting Chameleon is weak against Boomerang Cutter, Storm Eagle is weak against Chameleon Sting and Launch Octopus is weak against Rolling Shield. The only boss that is weak against his own attack is Metalman from "Megaman 2".

After defeating him in "Megaman X", Vile didn't come back until the third game. You fight the X-Hunters in the second game.

To get this capsule, you must have the Leg capsule to air dash. Before you step down to the moving platform, climb the right wall, and airdash to the left wall. Climb up to obtain the capsule.

You need the Arm Capsule and Gravity Well to obtain the capsule. Power up Gravity Well and let it go to raise a platform surrounded by spikes to get the capsule.

Sigma was the final boss in "Mega Man X1 - X3". Sigma is not refered to much in the sequels.

Answer: Shadow Armor

The Shadow armor is the only armor for X. Black Zero armor is for Zero. The rest are fake.

Answer: Four

In this game, there are a total of four ride armors you can get, and each is good for a different situation. The base ride armor is called the Chimera ride armor, and is necessary to get to use the rest of the armors. The other three are: Frog Armor, Hawk Armor, and Kangaroo Armor.

Unlike most of the other games in the series, this one has five armor capsules for X. This is due to the fact that you can get two different kinds of buster parts, but only one kind of every other part. The buster parts each have their own useful perks, so experiment with them to find out which one you like the best.

The black devil is one of the most annoying devils in the entire "Megaman" series. The only one who might be more annoying is the Rainbow Devil from the "Megaman Zero" series. The Green and Yellow devils are from the classic series.

Blayze Heatnix gives you the Magma Blade when defeated. In addition, he gives Zero the Shoenzan. Burn Rooster is from "Megaman X8", Flame Hyenard is from "Megaman X7", and Magma Dragoon is from "Megaman X4".

There are actually four options for characters in this game, if you get all of the armor pieces. You start out with three options, Zero, Axl, and OK. OK just keeps the same team you had in the previous level. You have to unlock X, which is the fourth option on the screen, and then when you get all of the armor pieces, you can select either armored or unarmored X, giving you a total of five selectable options.

In "Mega Man X", the leg upgrade allowed you to boost. Since then, boosting has become available from the start of the game.

His stage involves you going from truck to truck while destroying them in the process. Afterwords your thrown into the lab and must navigate it to find Grizzly Slash. He is recommended to be the first boss you go after due to his extreme easiness.

The orbs of the stage affect weather depending on what you hit them with. Ice them to cause snow, flame them to bring out the sun and bubble it to cause rain.

The name is announced when you beat the game and it tells all the names of the enemies in the stages. Bee Bladers fire a constant machine gun, fire missiles, and deploy robots. Probably the best strategy against Bee Bladers is to constantly jump and shoot. If you jump you can shoot the robots deployed since it won't affect them if you shoot their legs.

The only thing that Hadoken doesn't kill instantly is Vile's Carrier and Sigma's wolf form. Hadoken was originally used by Ryu in the Street Fighter games.

Answer: Squid Adler

Squid Adler used to be a Maverick Hunter like X and Zero, but he retired when one of his friends, Launch Octopus (a boss from "Megaman X"), turned Maverick and was destroyed by Megaman X. Also I doubt Dynamo or Grizzly Slash would ever pass as Maverick Hunters, Dynamo is a quite annoying mercenary (but he's still cool!), Grizzly Slash on the other hand is a weapons smuggler.
