1. Is Russell Crowe 'ridgy didge', I mean, Australian?

Answer: No

Russell is by birth a Kiwi (New Zealander), he was born in Wellington. He has lived in Australia on and off since his family moved to Sydney, New South Wales, when he was 4. His first acting role was at the age of 6 - 'a child extra' he called himself - and the rest, as they say is history!

Born in Scotland and arriving in Australia at the age of 11, Colin was a brickies labourer. He studied his 'craft' at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) alongside Mel Gibson and Judy Davis.
