The match was Hulk Hogan and Macho Man versus Andre the Giant and Million Dollar Man. "The Mega Powers versus The Mega Bucks."

Crush didn't join Demolition until the following year.

So he came out and challenged Mr. Perfect and ended up winning the belt from him. Another interesting note is that a similar thing happened to Brutus Beefcake at the first "Summerslam." He was scheduled to be the challenger but got injured in the ring prior to his match.

The loser of the match had to spend the night in jail. The Mountie lost and had to spend the night in jail.

The orginal Tag Team Title Match was supposed to be Legion of Doom taking on Money Incorporated. Prior to "SummerSlam" the Natural Disasters defeated Money Incorporated for the belts.

I used to think it was Kane, but found out later on it was Brian Lee.

Answer: Hakushi versus 1-2-3 Kid

This match was confusing. Hakushi was supposed to be a bad guy but turned into a good guy that same weekend. So it was kind of hard to know who to cheer for during this match.
9. What was the main event at "Summerslam" 1996?

Answer: Shawn Michaels versus Vader

The match had to be restarted twice. Shawn Michaels was counted out at first then got disqualified. The referee restarted the match both times. Shawn Michaels eventually got the pin and retained the Heavyweight Title.
10. Which of these special attraction matches was NOT on the card at "Summerslam" 1997?

Answer: Strap Match

The opening match was a Cage Match between Mic Foley and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The Dog Food Match was between British Bulldog and Ken Shamrock. The loser had to eat a can of dog food. The Kiss My Butt Match was between Owen Hart and Steve Austin. That was the match that Steve got hurt in.

He was dropped on his head and couldn't move. Steve did win the match but since he was hurt they didn't follow through with the Kiss My Butt stipulation.

Answer: Jake Roberts versus Rick Rude

Jake Roberts interfered in this match causing Junkyard Dog to be disqualified. Rick Rude was trying to get with Jake Roberts' wife. He also had her face on his tights so that didn't sit well with Jake.

Answer: Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle had to leave the match. Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Kurt Angle were on the announcers table. Hunter had set Kurt up for "The Pedigree" when the table collapsed on them. Hunter couldn't protect Kurt and his head slammed to the floor. He had a concussion after that. Surprisingly he ended up coming back to end the match.

Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect wrestled for the Intercontinental Title at "SummerSlam 1991". Shawn Michaels wasn't involved at this event.
