Harry Potter Book Five - Characters Quiz

Answer: Alastor Moody

Because of his extreme knowledge and experience being an ex-auror, it would be Moody who advises this. He claims that better wizards than Harry have lost their buttocks because their wands ignited while resting in their back pocket.

Answer: Arabella Figg

Arabella Figg is a squib who lives on Privet Drive as well. She advises Harry not to put his wand away because the Dementors might come back. Dumbledore has told her and Mundungus Fletcher to watch over Harry to make sure something like this wouldn't happen.

Answer: Arthur Weasley

Arthur Weasley escorted Harry to the hearing but did not actually attend it. Arabella Figg was brought by Dumbledore as a witness.
Cornelius Fudge is the Minister for Magic so of course he is part of the Wizengamot, which Percy Weasley is also in.

Answer: Luna Lovegood

When she was nine. Luna witnesses her mother die after an experiment went wrong, You can only see thestrals if you've seen someone die.

Answer: Dolores Jane Umbridge

At the hearing Cornelius Fudge introduces her as Dolores Jane Umbridge. As well as being the Defence Against the Dark Arts Teacher, she is the High Inquisitor of Hogwarts.

Answer: Willy Widdershins

Umbridge tells Harry and Dumbledore that Willy Widdershins overheard the meeting, while trying to get Harry expelled. Dumbledore knocks out all of the Ministry employees and tells Harry to stay safe. He then uses Fawkes to leave Hogwarts so he would not be escorted to Azkaban.

Answer: Severus Snape

Lucius lists the Death Eaters while giving out orders at the Ministry. Snape is at Hogwarts, as the Potions Master.

Lucius Malfoy says at the Ministry during the battle...
..."Be gentle with Potter until we've got the prophecy, you can kill the others if necessary - Bellatrix, Rodolphus, you take the left; Crabbe, Rabastan, go right - Jugson, Dolohov, the door straight ahead - McNair, Avery, through here - Rookwood, over there - Mulciber, come with me!"

Answer: Nymphadora Tonks

Tonks thinks it is her fault that Sirius dies because she says she wasn't able to fight Bellatrix herself. She is very upset that she caused her cousin, Sirius, to die. (Dumbledore later explains that the fault is his own.)

"Across the room Harry saw Tonks fall from halfway up the stone steps, her limp form toppling from stone seat to stone seat and Bellatrix, triumphant, running back towards the fray."

Answer: Headless Golden Wizard

Luckily, Dumbledore was there to save Harry with the Headless Golden Wizard. He probably wouldn't have been able to survive that one. Voldemort is seen at the Ministry and the wizarding forgives Harry.

"But the headless golden statue of the wizard in the fountain had sprung alive, leaping from its plinth to land with a crash on the floor between Harry and Voldemort."

Hermione buys a Daily Prophet every day, and it costs her one knut each time. An owl brings it with the morning post.
