1. What is the surname of the German golfer with first name Bernhard?

Answer: Langer

Langer was born in 1957 in Diedorf, Bavaria. He was interested in golf from an early age and left school age 14 in order to pursue a golfing career. He joined the European Tour in 1976. In 1985 he won his major title the Masters. He finished 1985 ranked number one in the world. He repeated his Masters triumph in 1993. He was a very valuable member of the European team in the Ryder Cup until 2002.
The other three German golfers were Martin Kaymer, Tobias Dier and Maximilian Kieffer.
2. What is the name of the Cypriot city that is the home of Glafcos Clerides international airport?

Answer: Larnaca

Larnaca airport first operated in 1974 following the Turkish invasion of the island and the closure of Nicosia international airport. The site was an old airfield which gradually expanded to satisfy the needs of passenger traffic to and from Cyprus. A new modern airport was built very close to the old one and started operations in 2009.
The city of Larnaca was built on the site of ancient Kition, one of the ten city-kingdoms of Cyprus.
Limassol is a major port city in Cyprus. Lamia and Larissa are both cities in Greece.

Queens Park Rangers have been in existence since 1886. They are based in West London. Their first major title came in 1967 in the League cup when QPR defeated West Bromwich Albion 3-2 despite being 2-0 down at half-time. Roger Morgan, Rodney Marsh and Mark Lazarus scored the goals that help the then third division side to their triumph.
