Ilkley is a spa town in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire. The moor, to the south of the town, is celebrated in the song "On Ilkla Moor Baht'at" - the gentleman at the centre of the song is chided for venturing on to the moor "without a hat".

Answer: Irvine

Irvine is located in Ayrshire, on the shores of the Firth Of Clyde. Jack McConnell, First Minister of the Scottish Parliament (in April 2007) was born there.

Answer: Ipswich

Ipswich was the birthplace, in 1475, of Cardinal Wolsey, a close political ally of King Henry VIII. The artists John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough both lived and worked in the town.
