5. Coit Tower, at the top of Telegraph Hill, is said to resemble what?

Answer: A fire hose nozzle

Coit Tower is one of the most famous views of San Francisco, built in memory of fire fighters who worked during the earthquake of 1906. It is a white building reminiscent of the Tower of Pisa in Italy. If you climb to the top, you can look forward to wonderful views over San Francisco and the Bay.

7. In 1775, Juan Manuel de Ayala discovered 'La Isla de los Alcatraces'('Alcatraz Island'), what does this translate to in English?

The speed limit, quite unsurprisingly, is only five miles per hour. Lombard Street is in competition for the title of Crookedest Street with another street in San Francisco called Vermont Street. Vermont Street is located near San Francisco General Hospital in the Potrero Disctrict and although it has fewer turns than Lombard Street it is much steeper
