The Hindu soldiers went a bit wild and started killing the English officers...then the British government decided to take India under its "protection".

Ingredients for pomme: 2 lbs of potato (la ratte), sea salt. one cup of butter, one cup of milk....place potato in water with sea salt- one table- spoon per quart. Simmer for 30 minutes. Drain and peel. Grind etc....mix the rest of the junk into it...voila!
