Risk was designed by Albert Lamorisse and released in France in 1957. This was the original game. Since there have been many different versions, including a Lord of the Rings and Star Wars editions.
2. Which Continent is worth the most?

Answer: Asia

Albert Lamorisse (the creator of Risk) (1922 - 1970) was a French filmmaker best known for "The Red Balloon" (1956), a short film which earned him the grand prize at Cannes and an Oscar. He died in a helicopter crash while filming "The Lovers' Wind", a helicopter-tour of Iran. The film was edited from his production notes and released in 1978. It was nominated for a posthumous Oscar for best documentary.

In an episode of "Red Dwarf", the character Rimmer regaled his shipmates with the incredibly boring tale of every dice throw of every move from every game of Risk he played in college. Rimmer insists it is building to the "exciting part" where he rolls a six and a three and his opponent rolls a three and a two. It was exciting for him because it got him into Irkutsk.

"Risk" is also played in the Seinfeld episode "The Label Maker" by Kramer and Newman, prompting Jerry to comment "it's Risk, the game of world domination being played by two guys who can barely run their own lives." The two play an extended Risk game throughout the episode. Towards the end of the episode, Kramer is on the verge of victory as they play on the subway.

However, after Kramer taunts Newman, regarding his position, "Ukraine is weak," a nearby Ukrainian man becomes enraged and smashes their Risk board.

Territories beginning with A are as follows- Alaska,

In a standard game of Risk, you would in fact receive two extra armies to be placed on that particular territory. If you control more than one of the traded territories, you still get only +2 and you must place the armies on either territory (no splitting allowed).

Kamchatka Peninsula is a 1,250-kilometer long peninsula in the Russian Far East. The Kamchatka River and the surrounding Central Valley are flanked by large volcanic ranges, containing around 160 volcanoes, 29 of them still active. Thus, the peninsula has perhaps the highest density of volcanos and associated volcanic phenomena in the world, with 19 active volcanos being included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
