Goblet of Fire Trivia Quiz

He does go to look at the trolley which is, as usual, full of sweets and goodies, but then he catches sight of Cho Chang, a beautiful Ravenclaw student, and decides he doesn't want anything after all. Young love!

Answer: Amos

Amos Diggory and his son Cedric meet up with Arthur and the children to take them all to the Quidditch World Cup. They have to travel via portkey as everyone except Amos, Cedric and Arthur Weasley are too young to apparate - the magical technique to disappearing and reappearing in another place.

They all grab hold of the portkey which is disguised as an old boot so muggles will ignore it, and they are transported to the sporting arena. Ron, Harry, Hermione, George and Fred all land flat on their faces and look up to see Arthur, Amos and Cedric smugly traveling through the air, landing neatly on their feet.

Answer: Lucius and Draco Malfoy

Lucius sneers at Arthur Weasley when he hears the children asking where their seats are, saying that if it rains, they'll be the first to know. The Malfoys are in the Ministry of Magic's box for the game, and the Weasleys are right at the top of the stadium, but as Quidditch is a game played high in the air on broomsticks, I think the Weasleys had the better seats after all!

Answer: They enter the circle but are then thrown out and magically grow white beards

Dumbledore is no fool and the Weasley twins' prank backfires on them. They took the aging potion to trick the age line, but end up aging really fast and grow thick white beards in front of all their schoolmates. They are fighting on the floor when Viktor Krum, a Durmstrang student and star of the Bulgarian Quidditch team comes in to enter his name into the Goblet of Fire.

Answer: Lets the cannon off too early

Argus Filch, the school caretaker, has the job of letting off the cannon to announce the start of each task in the Tri-Wizard tournament. Dumbledore gets ready to announce it, but Filch manages to fire the cannon early every time. This is just one of the comedy elements in the film which has arguably more laughs than its predecessors.

Answer: Potter Stinks

It seems everyone in Hogwarts is upset at Harry as they think he cheated his way into the tournament. As it turns out, the person who did enter Harry's name had a far more sinister motive for doing so. When Harry finds out what the first task is going to be, he thinks it only fair to warn his fellow Hogwarts competitor, Cedric Diggory. Cedric is grateful for the advice and apologises for the bright green "Potter Stinks" badge his friends are wearing.

Answer: Bubblehead charm

Fleur Delacour also uses the Bubblehead charm which creates a bubble over the mouth and nose, allowing the spell-caster to breathe underwater. She isn't successful in this challenge as she can't get past the grindylows in the lake. Viktor Krum uses a transfiguration spell to turn his head into that of a shark. Harry gets help in practically every task though, so he's not exactly one to bring this up.

In this challenge, Neville Longbottom tells him that eating gillyweed should help him breathe underwater and it does - Harry grows gills and his hands and feet become webbed, allowing him to swim faster than normal.

Answer: Igor Karkaroff

It was the Durmstrang headmaster in the dock. He himself was a Death Eater, or follower of Lord Voldemort, and tried to give the Wizard Council names of other Death Eaters. He did mention Hogwarts' potions master, Snape, but Dumbledore vouched for him and his name was dropped.

The scene ended with Karkaroff revealing that the head of the Council's son, Barty Crouch Jr., was himself a Death Eater and Barty Crouch Sr. had no choice but to send his own son to Azkaban. We also find out that Neville Longbottom's father was tortured by Crouch Jr.

After Harry sees these events, he leaves Dumbledore's office and sees Karkaroff showing something to Snape. It seems that the Dark Mark branded onto his arm marking him as a follower of Voldemort is burning again, meaning that Voldemort is coming back to power.

Answer: Jarvis Cocker

Jarvis from UK indie band Pulp strutted his stuff as the band's singer. There were also a couple of members of Radiohead in the band, Phil Selway the drummer, and Johnny Greenwood, the guitarist. The band provided a welcome relief for the students after the formal dancing, and Professor Flitwick even indulged in some crowd-surfing, although whether he actually had any choice in the matter is anyone's guess!

Answer: At the bottom of his own chest

Poor old Alastor Moody. If he wasn't paranoid before, he certainly will be now. Barty Crouch Jr. escaped from Azkaban and used Polyjuice potion to transform himself in to the new Hogwarts Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, leaving the real one trapped in his own secure metal chest. From his new position, Couch Jr. could manipulate events and ensure Harry ended up where Voldemort wanted him. Harry being Harry though, things don't go exactly to Voldemort's plan. Nevertheless, his increasing power and new body means that "The Order of the Phoenix" will be a dark affair indeed.
