Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Game over, man. Game over!"

Answer: Aliens

The quote comes from the sci-fi classic "Aliens". Bill Paxton (as Hudson) says this right after the drop ship crashes and leaves Ripley and what's left of the Marines stranded. Perhaps the most notable thing about this movie is that it is an example of a sequel actually improving on the original in a series.
2. "Consider this a divorce."

Answer: Total Recall

Ah-nuld fires off this one liner after killing Sharon Stone, who was posing as his wife because he'd been brainwashed and... ah to heck with it. If you got this right you probably saw the movie and know what I'm talking about. If you haven't seen it, but like action movies, then go rent it.
3. "We're on a mission from God."

Answer: The Blues Brothers

Jake and Elwood recite this line quite a few times in the movie. Unlike the aforementioned "Aliens", this is one movie where the original in the series was clearly the best. It had tons of car crashes, great music, and Princess Leia with a rocket launcher. They just don't make them like they used to.
4. "I'll make you famous."

Answer: Young Guns II

Billy the Kid says this early in the movie just before shooting one of many people. It's hard to believe that a cast consisting of Emilio Estevez, Lou Diamond Philips, Kiefer Sutherland, and Christian Slater could once be classified as A-list, but they all turn in great performances. The soundtrack really rocked, too.
5. "This is not a democracy, it's a cheerocracy."

Answer: Bring it On

Kirsten Dunst (as cheerleading captain Torrence Shipman) says this during the try out sequence. In case you are wondering how this film fits in with the others in this quiz, it is all my fiancee's fault. She loves this line for some reason and says it all the time.
6. "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? I ask that of all my prey. I just like the sound of it."

Answer: Batman

This comes out of the Joker's mouth moments before he shoots Bruce Wayne in Vicky's apartment. Batman says something similar in the bell tower just before beating the Joker silly. In my mind Jack Nicholson's Joker was probably one of the best big screen villains I've ever seen, and this was far and away the best movie in the whole series.
7. "You still don't get it, do you? He'll find her! That's what he does! That's all he does! You can't stop him! He'll wade through you, reach down her throat, and pull her heart out!"

Answer: The Terminator

Reese (Michael Biehn) screams this while the police are interrogating him (not long before the much more famous, "I'll be back."). That makes two movies with Michael Biehn in them so far in this quiz. Despite what people have to say about the second one, I've always felt that the first "Terminator" was far better, partly because the other films step all over the rules of time travel that the first one lays out.

When talking about the time machine Reese says that only living organisms can travel through time (the Terminator gets through because it's a robot encased in living skin). If that's the case then how did the T-1000 make it back through time in the sequel?
8. "It seems Mr. Ringo is an educated man. Now I really hate him."

Answer: Tombstone

Last Michael Biehn film, I promise! Doc Holiday says this during a very tense confrontation in a saloon, right after he and Mr. Ringo trade barbs in Latin. I love this movie, particularly Biehn as the cold blooded Ringo and especially Kilmer's Doc Holiday. I rank it as his best. In a close second: Ice Man.
9. "I'm gonna hit the brakes and he'll fly right by."

Answer: Top Gun

Tom Cruise as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell says this during the last dogfighting sequence in this 80s classic. Anthony Edwards and Meg Ryan are also in this one and make quite a cute couple. By show of hands, who cried when Goose died? I sure did, and I didn't cry a single tear when Bambi's mom or Old Yeller bought it.
10. Woman: "I love you." Man: "I know."

Answer: Empire Strikes Back

The debate will always rage about which is the best film in the "Star Wars" series, but "Empire Strikes Back" has got to be the most quotable. I always thought this was one of the coolest exchanges ever. Our heroes have been captured in the Cloud City, Han's about to be frozen, Leia professes her love, and he comes out with that response. Now that's tough.
