He's shocked to find how undisciplined and needy his kids are, soon understanding that what they really need to learn is self-discipline and respect, to prepare them for life in the real world. He becomes so involved with giving these kids what they've never had before, that he eventually chooses the classroom over engineering.
4. (2003) Joe Gavilan is a Homicide Detective who moonlights as a mediocre real estate agent. K.C. Calder is his partner who also teaches yoga, and aspires to be an actor. They're assigned to investigate the murder of an up-and-coming young rap group, and actually manage to solve the case, despite the discrepancies in their styles.
5. (2003) Captain Jack Sparrow needs to commandeer a ship and hire on a crew, so he can get his own ship back from the mutinous Barbossa and crew. Meanwhile Barbossa has his own agenda; return all the stolen Incan gold, and track down the offspring of Bootstrap Bill so that the curse can be lifted. This delightful movie was based on a ride at both Disneyworld and Disneyland.

(2001) It's Thanksgiving, but instead of spending a relaxing holiday with his family, Dr. Nathan Conrad is trying to break through to a catatonic young woman who holds a secret to the whereabouts of a very large gem. You see the bad guys have kidnapped Conrad's daughter, and if he doesn't get them the information they seek they will kill her.
7. (1997) Frankie McGuire, played by Brad Pitt, is one of the IRA's top terrorists, and he's hiding out in the home of an Irish cop in New York, while he tries to buy guns. Not knowing his true identity, Tom O'Meara, played by Harrison Ford, welcomes Frankie into his home and treats him like a son, until he finds his family is endangered.
8. (2003) James Clayton is a very talented young man. So much so that Walter Burke seeks him out, and persuades him to join the CIA, and begin the rigorous training program. Burke even goes so far as to enlist Clayton's help in ferreting out a mole within the agency. But it soon turns out that Clayton should have paid more attention to the CIA maxims 'nothing is what it seems', and 'trust no one'.
9. (1997) Julianne never really wanted to marry Michael, at least not before Michael announced his plans to marry Kimberly. Now Julianne is determined to break up the nuptials and keep Michael for herself, and she only has four days to do it.
10. (2001) Recently out of prison, Danny Ocean has a devious plan to rob three of the really big Las Vegas casinos. Curiously, all three are owned by the same man, who just happens to be dating Danny's ex-wife.
11. (1994) Mark is just a kid, but he's already got plenty of street smarts. Normally he can handle himself pretty well, but when he witnesses the suicide of Jerome Clifford, a lawyer whose client is a mafia hit man, he decides that it's time he gets a lawyer to protect himself. You see before Jerome died, he told Mark where the body of Senator Boyd Boyett is buried, and now both the FBI and the mob want a piece of him. Fortunately Mark finds Reggie Love, a lawyer who will do anything to protect her young client.
12. (1994) Helen Tasker yearns for a little excitement and adventure, something she doesn't feel she's getting from her husband, so she takes a lover. She has absolutely no idea that her husband, who she believes is a computer salesman, is really a secret agent. Before she knows it, she has all the excitement she wants, as her husband tries to juggle dealing with Helen's affair at the same time as he's pursuing nuclear terrorists, and the two issues become inter-twined.
13. (2000) Claire Spencer is a little fragile. She's still recovering from a bad car accident, and has just sent her daughter away to college. It's a good thing her husband dotes on her so much. When she starts to hear voices and see strange things happening, including the face of a young woman reflected in the water, she becomes convinced that her house is haunted. Her husband encourages her to see a therapist, who in turn encourages her to try to make contact with whoever it might be. But she certainly doesn't like what she finds.
14. (2002) Vinnie and Suzette were rock groupies together, many years ago. Twenty years later Suzette looks up her old friend, only to find that Lavinia, as she's now known, has two teen-aged daughters of her own and has traded in 'groupy-hood' for suburbia. Seeing Suzette triggers a mid-life crisis in Lavinia, who shocks her family by cutting loose a little.
15. (1986) Allie Fox, played by Harrison Ford, is a brilliant but eccentric inventor who gets fed up with the American way, and drags his family off to Central America to build an ice factory in the jungle. He's determined to build a better world for his family than the one they left behind, but of course nothing ever works out the way it's planned.
