Robert Montgomery and Carole Lombard played David and Annie Smith. One day Annie asks David if he would marry her all over again, and he answers no, because he misses his freedom. Later that day, David and Annie find out that their marriage isn't valid because of a boundary dispute in the county where they were married.

Instead of being happy, David realizes how much he wants to be married to Annie, and goes to hilarious lengths to get her back, especially after she begins dating other men. Alfred Hitchcock directed this romantic comedy, which also starred Gene Raymond and Jack Carson.

James Cagney played the harsh Capt. Morton in 1955's "Mister Roberts". Lt. Doug Roberts (Henry Fonda) is the Executive Officer on the USS Reluctant, a WWII cargo ship. He hates being stuck on a "floating warehouse", and longs for combat. Jack Lemmon, William Powell and Betsey Palmer also starred in this bittersweet comedy.

Carla has always told everyone, including her daughter Gia, that she was married to a Capt. Campbell and became pregnant just before he was killed (she got the name from a soup can). Telly Savalas, Phil Silvers and Peter Lawford played the three men, Walter, Phil and Justin, who all still have amorous feelings for Carla.
