Answer: Frodo & Bilbo (old)

Elijah Wood, the actor for Frodo, and Ian Holm, the actor for the old Bilbo, returned to New Zealand around 10 years after the "Lord of the Rings" filming to film the introductory of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey". The Movie starts with a scene of Bilbo writing in his red book, later seen in the "Lord of the Rings", followed by an interruption that re-introduces Frodo into Middle Earth.

Answer: A Butterfly

A wizard standing on the other side of Bilbo's fence uses his power to change Bilbo's smoke ring into a butterfly. The smoke shape then flutters its way back to Bilbo and gets Bilbo to look up once it hits him in the face, leaving a cloud of smoke in front of his face.

When Bilbo looks up, he sees a wizard in grey looking down on him. This exchange of looks is followed by a "Good morning" from the hobbit.

Answer: Benedict Cumberbatch

Though Benedict Cumberbatch is not one of the dwarves of the company, he does play a part in the film. Briefly portraying the role of the Necromancer, this English actor, also known as Sherlock from the TV series "Sherlock", once again joins Martin Freeman in another production. James Nesbitt, Aidan Turner, Dean O-Gorman, and Ken Stott, on the other hand, have a chance to play Bofur, Kili, Fili, and Balin, some of the youngest and oldest of the company.

Answer: Martin Freeman

An English actor known for his roles as Tim Canterbury in BBC's "The Office", John in "Love Actually", Doctor Watson in "Sherlock" and many others, Martin Freeman was chosen to play the role of Bilbo Baggins for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey". Peter Jackson and his team chose Freeman from a number of other actors such as Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter - "Harry Potter"), Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky - "Transformers"), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier - "X Men: First Class"), Erryn Arkin (Ledo Wright - "CSI: Crime scene Investigation"), and Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker - "Spider-Man"). Though Freeman originally turned it down because of scheduling conflicts with "Sherlock", Peter adjusted the entire shooting schedule to accommodate him.

Answer: Dwalin

Dwalin was the first to knock on the round green door of Bag End, surprising and confusing Bilbo for, after all, it was an unexpected party. The dwarf greeted Bilbo with "Dwalin, at your service" followed by the baffled reply,"Uh... Bilbo Baggins at yours", before placing his dark green hood on the coat hanger.

He also ate Bilbo's supper while he was looking for the food that was supposed to be offered to the dwarves. After Dwalin came, his older brother Balin got to Bagend, followed by, Fili and Kili, and so on.

The character Dwalin is more of a warrior type of dwarf. He caries paired axes on his back and knuckle-dusters on his tattooed hands, something that gives him a more tough and dangerous look.

Answer: Kili

This song started with Ori asking Bilbo what to do with his plate. Kili's brother, Fili, then takes care of Ori's plate by throwing it to Kili, who throws it to Dwalin while Bofur and most of the other dwarves begin using the knifes and forks as sort of instruments. Bilbo was very worried about the dwarves blunting his utensils, which led Bofur to say" Ooh, you hear that lads, he said we'll blunt the knifes".

This followed the beginning of the song, sung by Kili. Kili was the youngest of the two nephews of Thorin Oakenshield.

He used a bow and arrows as well as the occasional sword and had the least amount of facial hair in the company of dwarves.

Answer: Balin

Balin offers a great amount of wisdom and guidance as the oldest of the company. As seen in the prologue of the movie, he makes an appearance in the battle for Erebor when Smaug the Terrible is shown attacking the dwarves of the Lonely Mountain. Played by Scottish actor Ken Stott, this dwarf is seen in the movie explaining things and helping others understand many issues within the company and illustrating past stories. Balin is also one of the dwarves who are mentioned in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Later, after everything that happens in "The Hobbit", Balin returns to the Mines of Moria to reclaim it.

In the "Lord of the Rings", his tomb is seen, on which is written "Balin, son of Fundin - Lord of Moria".

Answer: Wind

After making an agreement with the creature Gollum, Bilbo played a game of riddles where winning is the difference between life or death. Bilbo was given the first chance to ask. He offered a riddle on teeth. The riddle with the answer "wind" was "voiceless it cries, wingless flutters, toothless bites, mouthless mutters". Bilbo got the answer after seeing the wind slightly move the water in Gollum's cave.

In the end, Bilbo left with his life, finishing with the unanswered, "What have I got in my pocket". Remembering when Bilbo first came into Gollum's cave, he picked up a gold ring and put it in this pocket. If only Gollum knew, but then again, he did figure it out after the game when he went to go look for his "birthday present" and found out that it was lost.

Answer: Mutton

"Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer!" said William.
William was one of the three mountain trolls that the company encountered during their journey. The other two went by the names of Bert and Tom. William was the one to complain about the mutton he was bringing in what he thought was sheep, only to be corrected by Bert. Bert knew that they were, as he says, "fresh nags", or in other words, horses.

Answer: Fili and Kili

At he beginning of the battle scene between Azog the defiler and Thorin Oakenshield, Thorin charges out to challenge Azog but is defeated. Before Thorin was beheaded, Bilbo ran out into battle and attacked the orc that was going to cut off Thorin's head, killing him with his sword. Ordered by Azog, the orcs on wargs start to walk towards Bilbo to kill him but Fili and Kili join in to fight them off.

After the two brothers, Dwalin helps the dwarves and Bilbo. Soon after, they join the battle, the eagles come and save the company of dwarves, Bilbo, and Gandalf. Though Kili also uses a bow and arrow, during this battle the three dwarves use swords.
