The Seeds were one of the first garage bands and influenced many more with their distinct sound on songs such as 'Pushin Too Hard'.

All three bands listed were indeed from England; The Kinks sent hits such as 'You Really Got Me' and 'All Day and All of the Night' to America, The Troggs had huge success with 'Wild Thing', and The Birds, although not nearly as popular, were a mod group in the same category as the Who. Not to be confused with the American band The Byrds.

The Squires only have one compliation cd that I know of, it's extremely hard to find. But if you are interested, and I highly recommend it, you can find' Going All the Way' on the great collection of Garage bands called 'Nuggets'.

Nothing againist Supertramp, they just came from a different genre of music. You can hear the garage influnce on the other three with their simple songwriting, heavy fuzz guitars, and aggressiveness.
