"Can't Buy Me Love" was recorded at the Pathe Marconi Studios, Paris on January 29, 1964. The reason being is that the Beatles were performing in Paris for 18 days of concerts at the Olympia Theatre. Paul McCartney's final vocal was dubbed at the EMI Studios in London on February 25, 1964. The single peaked at number one in the USA for six weeks in April/May 1964.

All of the other songs were recorded at the EMI Studios in London (later Abbey Road studios). "Love Me Do" peaked at number one for one week in May 1964. "We Can Work It Out" peaked at the top for three weeks in January 1966. "Let It Be" spent two weeks at the top in April 1970.
