Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'No one's gonna fight in a ten bob revolution.'

Answer: Carry Us All

This song is a B-side on the "Sunday Morning Call" single.
2. 'Is it time to doubt? Is it time to wait? Will you be left alone at the starting gate?'

Answer: Alive

This is one of the earliest recordings Oasis did. It is featured as a B-side on the "Shakermaker" single.
3. 'She told me what your rulebook read, I've been to the slaughter, I slept with your daughter.'

Answer: See The Sun

This was a very early Oasis song, recorded before they were signed to Creation Records, consequently it was never 'officially' released but is available on various bootlegs.
4. 'I can swing through the trees, Tarzan on harmonies for free.'

Answer: Hung In A Bad Place

'Hung In A Bad Place' is featured on the band's fifth studio album 'Heathen Chemistry'. It is unique because it is the first Oasis song, not written by a Gallagher brother, to be released on an album. The song's author is Gem Archer, formerly of the band Heavy Stereo.
5. 'To the people who live the afterlife, In a place I'll never be 'til I'm crucified.'

Answer: Let's All Make Believe

This song is a B-side on the "Go Let It Out" single.
6. 'I need shades because the sun is blinding, and I can see for miles and miles.'

Answer: Cloudburst

This was also an early Oasis track, it is a b-side on the "Live Forever" single. "Cloudburst" was originally to be included on "Definitely Maybe" but was dropped in favour of "Slide Away" at the last minute.
7. 'I could be a star in a Jaguar, I need to lighten my load.'

Answer: Step Out

This track was originally intended for release on "(What's The Story) Morning Glory", but was dropped at the last minute due to its similarities to Stevie Wonders' hit 'Uptight'. It was later released as a B-side on the "Don't Look Back In Anger" single.
8. 'It's never gonna be the same, because the years are falling by like the rain.'

Answer: Hello

This is the first track on "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?". It features a refrain from a Gary Glitter song and is thus credited in the liner notes for the album.
9. 'You're the uninvited guest who stays 'til the end, I know you got a problem that the devil sent.'

Answer: Bring It On Down

The version of this song on "Definitely Maybe" is far slower and less 'punky' than the way Noel had originally formatted it.
10. 'I don't mind not feelin' imortal, because it ain't all that as far as I can tell, and I don't mind not going to heaven...'

Answer: Cigarettes In Hell

This song is featured on the "Go Let It Out" single as a B-side.
