'Grandma's Feather Bed' is a song from John Denver's 1974 album 'Back Home Again'. The song was written by Jim Connor who played the banjo and harmonica on the album. Although John Denver was born in New Mexico he lived in Aspen, Colorado for much of his life and his love for the state of Colorado was well known.

After Denver died in a plane crash in 1997 his ashes were scattered in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
