After he changed his name and had success with "She Blinded Me with Science" Dolby Laboratories initially expressed concern because he was using the name Dolby.

His record label stood by him and eventually the courts ruled that Dolby Laboratories could not restrict Dolby from using the name. When he released his debut album titled "The Golden Age of Wireless" it did not include "She Blinded Me with Science" but it was re-released with the song when "She Blinded Me with Science" reached the US Number Five slot.
