Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which group released the 1968 Top Ten hit "I'm A Girl Watcher"?

Answer: Okaysions

"I'm A Girl Watcher" gave The Okaysions the credentials to become members of the One-Hit-Wonder fraternity. The band formed in North Carolina and originally called themselves The Kays. Their only hit was produced and released by a local label, but when the master was picked up by ABC Records the tune received national attention and became a Top Ten hit.

The original master has long since disappeared so any re-releases are simply dubs of the original 45 RPM record. The band still performs Beach Music in the Carolinas with Wayne Pittman on guitar being the only founding member still in the lineup. The Chi-lite recorded "Oh Girl". "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love" and "You Make Me Feel Brand New" were among the hits done by the Spinners in the seventies. "Back Stabbers" was a 1972 hit for The O'Jays.

His version was bumped from the top spot after the three-week reign by Rod Stewart's "Maggie May". Del Shannon recorded "Hey! Little Girl" in 1961.
