Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Van Halen

Answer: Jump

"Jump" is from Van Halen's sixth studio album "1984". This album also rewarded us with "Hot For Teacher", "Top Jimmy" and "Panama". Sure enough, it was released in 1984.
2. Led Zeppelin

Answer: Rock And Roll

From the "Untitled", or "Four Symbols" or just "Led Zeppelin 4" album. "Rock And Roll" does as the title suggests. Released in 1971 the LP also gave us "Stairway To Heaven".
3. Pink Floyd

Answer: Astronomy Domine

All the way back in 1967 Pink Floyd released "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn". If you wondered where Floyd kept their "Bike" look no further, it's the last track on the album.
4. Yes

Answer: Starship Trooper

Released in 1971, "The Yes Album" was the first of their works I heard. After hearing the first two tracks, "Yours Is No Disgrace" and "Starship Trooper" I was hooked.
5. Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band

Answer: Roll Me Away

I think that Bob Seger is an amazing lyricist, philosopher even. From the 1982 album, "The Distance" comes the outstanding "Roll Me Away". "Next time we'll get it right, roll me away".
6. Thin Lizzy

Answer: Fools Gold

Thin Lizzy released "Johnny The Fox" less than seven months after the release of "Jailbreak" in 1976. From "Johnny" comes "Fools Gold" it is a lesser known Lizzy ballad that blew me away when I first heard it, as it still does today.
7. Alice Cooper

Answer: I'm 18

Alice Cooper released "I'm 18" as a single in 1970 and later in 1971 on the "Love It To Death" album. What young bloke hasn't felt "I'm a boy and I'm a man"?
8. The Rolling Stones

Answer: Start Me Up

From the 1981 album "Tattoo You" the Rolling Stones produced "Start Me" Up. This became the opening number at Stones concerts for many years. Quite rightly too, it sets the stage for a great show.
9. Canned Heat

Answer: Let's Work Together

"Let's Work Together" was on the 1970 "Future Blues" album. It also features on "1970 Live In Europe" album part recorded at The Royal Albert Hall, London. I was there!
10. Faces

Answer: Ooh La La

"Ooh La La", the fourth studio album from Faces was to be their last. Released in 1973 with the title track penned by the brilliant Ronnie Lane. "I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger".
