The 2010 UEFA Champsions League final took place was held on 22 May 2010 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.
This was the first Champions League / European Cup final to be played on a Saturday. All previous finals had been played on a Wednesday. Both finalists, Inter Milan and Bayer Munich, were aiming to win a treble, having previously clinched their respective league titles and domestic cup competitions.
Inter won the game 2-0 thanks to two goals from Argentina striker Diego Milito. This was Inter's third win in the competition, following victories in 1964 and 1965. Their manager, Jose Mourinho, picked up his second victory in the competition, having previously led FC Porto to the title in 2004. Despite his success, Mourinho left Inter less than one week later to take charge of Real Madrid.

The 2011 UEFA Champions League final took place on 28 May 2011 at Wembley Stadium in London.
In a repeat of the 2009 final, Barcelona faced Manchester United. Barcelona had won 2-0 in 2009, and would win again in 2011, this time 3-1. Barcelona were appearing in their third final in six years, while Manchester United were appearing in their third final in four years. Both teams had won the competition three times previously (Barcelona in 1992, 2006 & 2009 and Manchester United in 1968, 1999 and 2008).
The Barcelona team which won the 2011 final are regarded by many as one of the best teams to have ever played the game. Led by Pep Guardiola since 2008, Barcelona had developed a short passing game, and had in their team Lionel Messi, who had won the Ballon d'Or in 2009 and 2010. He would go on to win it again in 2011. Barcelona also boasted many players who featured in Spain's winning World Cup squad in 2010, and the Spain teams which won the European Championship in 2008 and 2012.

The 2012 Champions League final took place on 19 May 2012 at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Bayern, beaten finalists in 2010, took on Chelsea, who had lost in 2008. Bayern were aiming to claim their fifth victory in the competition, while Chelsea had never previously won the Champions League / European Cup.
The match ended 1-1 after extra-time, with Chelsea winning the game 4-3 on penalties.

The 2013 Champions League final was played on 25 May 2013 at Wembley Stadium in London. Bayern Munich, appearing in their third final in four years, took on Borussia Dortmund.
This was the fourth time that two teams fro the same nation had met in the final of the competition following 2000 (Real Madrid v Valencia), 2003 (AC Milan v Juventus) and 2008 (Manchester United v Chelsea).
Dortmund were hoping to win the competition for the second time, having previously won in 1997, while Bayern were aiming to win their fifth title, having previously won in 1974, 1975, 1976 and 2001. Bayern won the game 2-1.

The 2014 Champions League final was held on 24 May at Estadio de Luz in Lisbon, home of Benfica.
Real Madrid took on Atletico Madrid, the fifth time two sides from the same nation had met in the final, and the first time two teams from the same city had done so.
Atletico were appearing in only their second final, having previously lost 4-0 to Bayern Munich in 1974. Real were hoping to become the first team to win the competition for the 10th time, having last won in 2002. Real went on to win 4-1 after extra-time.

Barcelona met Juventus, with both teams aiming for a treble having previously won their respective league championships and domestic cup competions. Barcelona were aiming for their fifth victory in the competition, having last won in 2011. Juventus were aiming for only their third victory, having previously won in 1985 and 1996.
Barcelona won the game 3-1.

In a repeat of the 2014 final, Real Madrid took on city rivals Atletico Madrid, and like the final of two years previously, the match finished 1-1 after regulation time, although this time the match was taken to a penalty shoot-out.
Real won shoot-out 5-3 to win the competition for the 11th time.

The 2017 Champions League final was played on 3 June at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Real Madrid, playing in their third final in three years, took on beaten 2016 finalists Juventus.
Madrid won the match 4-1 to claim their 12th Champions League / European Cup win, becoming the first team since AC Milan in 1990 to successfully defend the title, and the first to do so since the competition had been rebranded as the Champions League in 1992.

Real Madrid were aiming for their fourth victory in five years. They faced Liverpool, who were aiming to win the competition for the competition for the sixth time in their history, having previously won in 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984 and 2005.
Real won the match 3-1 to claim their 13th victory in the competition. Two of Real's goals had been the result of goalkeeping errors from Liverpool's Loris Karius, with the other being a remarkable overhead kick from Gareth Bale.

The 2019 Champions League final took place on 1 June at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, home of Atletico Madrid.
Liverpool were hoping to win the competition for the sixth time, while Tottenham were playing in the European Cup / Champions League final for the first time in their history.
This was the seventh time two teams from the same country had met in the final of the competition, and the second time two teams from England had done so (the previous being Manchester United v Chelsea in 2008).
Liverpool won the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.
