Answer: John Locke

When we first saw Locke in this episode, he was sitting by the computer doing a drawing as the timer started to tick down in the hatch. He became frustrated at what he was drawing and then the alarm started to go off. Jack was nearby and alerted Locke to it so Locke entered in the numbers and reset the hatch timer.

Answer: Ana Lucia Cortez

Jack went up to Ana Lucia, who was keeping guard outside Ben's room, and he asked her when it was the last time she spoke to Ben. Ana Lucia replied how it had been a couple of days since Ben claimed he had lost his appetite and was not hungry and cared not to talk. Jack entered the room and told Ben he was going to look at his wounds but to not try and attack him.

Answer: Michael Dawson

In the final scene, Jack and Kate were in the jungle and Kate apologized to him for kissing him. Jack told her he was not sorry at all for that moment they had and, as they spoke, they noticed someone stumbling through the jungle carrying a torch. The person fell down and Jack and Kate turned him over to see it was an unconscious Michael.

The episode ended with a look at Michael's unconscious body.

This episode focused a lot on Rose and Bernard's relationship and how they first met when Rose's car was stuck in the snow. Bernard helped free her car and she thanked him for this. To repay Bernard for his assistance, Rose asked him if she could treat him to a cup of coffee, to which Bernard took her up on her offer.

Answer: Hugo "Hurley" Reyes

As the opening credits rolled, we saw Bernard walking towards Rose and Rose was seen asking Hugo if he wanted some food that she got him, which she mentioned how she beat out half the group to snag them. Hurley refused her offer since he stated how he was on a diet of fish and water. Bernard asked Hurley if he can get a bunch of people to meet him by a tree line and Hurley told him he would.

When we first saw Sawyer in this episode, he and Kate were down by the beach catching some items in the water. Sawyer commented on how Kate was doing rather well since she caught four of them in the past hour and perhaps they should call the Guinness Book of Records. Kate told Sawyer how she had better things to do with her time. Jack approached Sawyer and informed him how he was going out to the jungle to meet the "man with the beard" (Tom Friendly) to offer an exchange of Ben Linus for Walt.

Bernard had a group discussion with the survivors of Oceanic 815 since he had wanted to devise a plan to get off the island. He mentioned how most of the group tended to not be doing much to try and leave the island and it was as if they did not wish to go home. Claire scolded Bernard for saying something like that and Hurley chimed in to remind Bernard how they did build a raft to try and escape.

Answer: Wayne Pygram

Pygram, born on October 13th, 1959 in Cootamundra, Australia guest starred as Isaac of Uluru in this episode of "Lost." Isaac of Uluru appeared in a flashback when Rose and Bernard honeymooned in Australia and sought him out since he was a faith healer. For the first five seasons of the show, Pygram guest starred in just this one episode.

He has also guest starred on the TV shows, "My Place", "Rogue Nation", and "Sons and Daughters."

Answer: Charlie Pace

Bernard went to go see Mr. Eko and Charlie to ask them if they would help him build a huge sign on the beach to get the attention of a plane flying over the island. Both Mr. Eko and Charlie declined, with Mr. Eko telling him he was busy and Charlie saying he only had two hands and thus could not help. Bernard got frustrated with both of them and even remarked to Mr. Eko how he liked him better when he just hit people with a stick.

Answer: Jin Kwon

Bernard brought many rocks to the beach to help build a sign to catch the eye of a plane flying by the island but there were not many people there to help. Bernard asked them why they were not there but nobody could really give him a definitive answer. Bernard told all of them how they could just get many rocks, most of which were a half a mile away, and help build letters as a sign to attract a possible plane flying overhead.

When he mentioned this, Jin started speaking in Korean and Bernard could not understand him. Hurley stepped in and assumed Jin meant that he was not crazy over dragging heavy rocks that far.
