The episode began with Claire and Sun doing laundry right by the beach and Sun looked depressed. Sun started speaking frantically in Korean and Claire asked her what the matter was. Sun replied how she had lost her wedding ring.

Sun was in the first flashback of this episode and she was with her mother. She got ready for an occasion and dressed up for it with her mother offering advice on what to wear. They discussed marriage and Sun informed her she would marry when the time was right. Her mother replied how that moment was the right time and urged Sun to get married.

In Jack's first scene, during the opening credits, he noticed how Sun looked down so he asked her if she was alright. Sun informed him how she looked for her wedding ring due to how she had just lost it. Jack comforted her by telling her about how he also once lost his wedding ring. Ana Lucia instructed Libby to go with Michael as part of a pair and they were to scavenge for food. Hurley told Sun that he wanted to help her find her wedding ring so they strolled along the beach and began to talk. They got a little bit into the jungle and sat down to chat some more and she brought up Vincent the dog. Hurley took her to find Vincent since he believed Vincent was the key to finding her ring. Once they found Vincent, Hurley asked Sun some person questions and wanted to know if Seoul, where Sun grew up, was in the good or bad Korea. Sun replied it was in the good Korea so he then asked her if she went to the Olympics when they were held in Seoul. Sun replied by saying he was being ridiculous in his thought that Vincent the dog swallowed her wedding ring.

Sun continued to look for her wedding ring and became even more frustrated once looking deep and not coming up with anything. She started to throw a fit and, right as she did, Locke was there and he asked her if she had a bad day. She did not reply to him so Locke offered her a tissue, for which she thanked him. Locke sat down and comforted Sun, primarily by discussing his anger issues.
