Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who was feeding Vincent in the first scene?

Answer: Shannon Rutherford

In the opening scene, Shannon was seen with Vincent as she was giving him some food and water. Sayid appeared and asked her to come with him and to let Vincent be by himself for a little while. Sayid took Shannon to a hut which he decorated all just for her. Shannon thanked him for doing what he did.
2. Shannon and Sayid made love, in this episode.

Answer: True

Right after Shannon thanked Sayid for the hut he decorated for her, they started to move closer to each other in an intimate pose. They eventually kissed but Sayid stopped himself for a brief pause to gather himself. He and Shannon began to make love for the first time.
3. Ana Lucia accused Sawyer of leaving Michael behind.

Answer: False

Ana Lucia and Sawyer started to get into a heated argument in their first scene together from this episode and Sawyer eventually asked Ana Lucia which way she would go to find Michael and Mr. Eko. During the middle of their argument, Ana Lucia leaned over to Sawyer's face and accused him of just leaving Michael behind. Sawyer told her Michael only cared about finding Walt and, just as he said this, Michael reappeared, much to Sawyer's dismay.
4. Charlie told who that Shannon had a nightmare?

Answer: Claire Littleton

Shannon was alone in the tent when it went dark and she saw what she believed to be Walt in the flesh. Sayid tried to convince her she had a bad dream but Shannon insisted Walt was real. As they argued, Charlie went to both of them to find out what the matter was and Sayid explained the situation to them. Claire went to go talk to Charlie and he told her how Shannon had a nightmare.
5. Who offered to take a look at Sawyer's shoulder?

Answer: Libby Smith

The Others, along with Sawyer, Jin, and Michael started hiking towards the campsite of the rest of the Oceanic 815 survivors. On there way there, Sawyer fell down due to increased pain in his shoulder so Libby became concerned. She asked Sawyer if she could look at his shoulder and he allowed her to examine it. She mentioned to him how she was a clinical psychologist.
6. In Hurley and Rose's first scene together, what were they doing?

Answer: Laundry

Hurley and Rose were seen in this episode doing laundry right by the beach and he asked Rose why they were hanging clothes on a clothesline when there was a dryer in the hatch. Rose explained to him how she did not like the hatch and preferred hanging up her clothes to dry. She also informed Hurley how, given the sunlight, they would dry up in no time.
7. Midway through the episode, who asked Claire about how Aaron's cradle was doing?

Answer: John Locke

Claire was having trouble getting Aaron to go to sleep, since he had been up eight hours straight, and Locke happened to be right near her. He asked her if it was possible the cradle was making him uncomfortable but she explained to him how Aaron did not have a nap for eight hours. Locke comforted and soothed Aaron and he stopped fusing.
8. Boone did not make an appearance in this episode.

Answer: False

Ian Somerhalder reprised his role of Boone Carlyle for this episode of "Lost." In a flashback, Shannon's stepfather had been killed in a car accident and Boone happened to be at the funeral. Shannon embraced her stepbrother and was grateful to see him again.
9. In a flashback, who informed Shannon how she was not a part of her stepfather's living trust?

Answer: Her stepmother

Shannon, in a flashback, got a letter being accepted as an intern up in New York City but then she got bad news over the phone. Someone told her that her rent check had bounced so she went to talk to her stepmother regarding the living trust her deceased stepfather left her. Shannon's stepmother dropped a bombshell and told Shannon how she was never a part of that living trust.
10. Michael asked who to help him make a stretcher for Sawyer?

Answer: Mr. Eko

Sawyer passed out, while walking through the jungle, and Michael and Libby worked to revive him. Michael insisted that they not give up on Sawyer so he asked Mr. Eko if he would help him make a stretcher to use for Sawyer and to drag him across the island. Mr. Eko obliged and started gathering materials to help build a stretcher.
