Following Chuck's funeral, Howard was waiting for Kim and Jimmy when they arrived back at their apartment. He wanted to discuss "the truth about Chuck", telling them that he didn't believe that Chuck's death was an accident. Kim thought that if this were true, it might have been Chuck's breakdown at the bar hearing that triggered his decision to kill himself, but Howard disagreed.

He said that Chuck's mental state had actually improved following the hearing. Howard believed it was his fault that Chuck had killed himself; he had forced Chuck out of the firm following the disagreement over the malpractice insurance increase. Howard was distraught, but Jimmy wasn't supportive: "Well, Howard, I guess that's your cross to bear". Both Howard and Kim looked shocked after Jimmy's statement, but for Jimmy, it seemed to be cathartic.

He got up, cheerfully fed the fish, and whistled while he made coffee.

Answer: Job interview

Jimmy had an amazingly successful job interview for a copier salesman, but when he was offered the job on the spot, he scorned the interviewers: "Are you out of your mind? You don't know me! I just came in off the street! You guys are like a couple of cats. I come in and waive a shiny object around you, and 'I want that'. No due diligence, no background check... I could be a serial killer! I could be the guy who pees in your coffee pot!" The two men looked dazed, especially since Jimmy had put so much effort into convincing them to hire him right then. "Suckers," he commented as he left, "I feel sorry for you."

Answer: Stealing a Hummel figurine

Jimmy had noticed that there was a rare Hummel statue on a shelf at the copier store where he had a job interview. The owner was planning to throw it away, so Jimmy decided to take it, but he needed to hire a thief so he went to the Vet. When the Vet told him that his contact (Ira) wasn't interested, Jimmy wanted to talk to the man directly, The Vet told him that it didn't "work that way. No direct contact", but Jimmy was adamant.

When he got on the phone, he graphically asked Ira if he excreted gold.

He asked Ira how long it would take for him to pick a Yale 3-pin lock, and Ira apparently said less than eight minutes, because Jimmy responded, "Well then in eight minutes, you're going to make four grand - ten minutes if you decide to pick your nose".

After Ira agreed, Jimmy left, telling the Vet, "I'm not telling you how to do your job but..."

Answer: Francesca

The flash-forward took place as Saul Goodman was getting ready to get out of town. Francesca was shredding documents while Saul frantically pulled out his stashed money and his shoebox of memorabilia from the ceiling and wall of his office. He made the above rambling statement when he opened a bag and found that his money was still in it. If you've seen "Breaking Bad", then Francisca looked familiar. If you've only seen "Better Call Saul", you might not have recognized the chipper receptionist from Kim and Jimmy's Wexler McGill law office.

Her time with Jimmy/Saul had definitely turned her crusty.

Answer: Kim

Kim woke up in the middle of the night to find Jimmy in the bathroom, trying to clean the wounds he received when he was mugged by the teens after his late-night burner phone selling operation. Kim's arm was in a sling so he had to open the bottle of hydrogen peroxide for her so that she could dab his wounds with it.

The fact that they were both injured was what drew the reference to the American Civil War photographer from Jimmy. Kim responded, "Yeah, I think you'd need a cannon to really sell that".

Answer: Howard

Jimmy went to HHM to pick up his $5k inheritance check, and he was surprised to see that there were a lot of empty cubes in the building. Howard admitted that the firm was undergoing a "reorganization" because their "reputation is not what it was". He didn't respond when Jimmy asked what plans he had to get the firm up and running again, so Jimmy started to leave, but then he decided to give Howard his version of a pep talk, including the above quote.

Answer: Office party at Kim's law firm

Kim had taken Jimmy to the office party at Schweikart and Cokely, and although he was fitting in pretty well, he was intimidated by her nice office and probably realized that he couldn't make her a better offer. So when he heard Rich Schweikart discuss "splurging" on a company retreat to Taos, he decided to add his two cents.

He first recommended that they go to Telluride, renting party buses for the trip, and he then upped the ante to Aspen with the above comment. At that point, he recommended chartering flights, which clearly was out of the expense budget that Rich had in mind.

Leading up to the episode, Jimmy and Kim's relationship appeared to be in trouble, and Kim didn't look particularly thrilled to get involved in a scam to save Huell from prison. But as we'd seen before, Kim ended up getting a thrill from pulling the scam, and after she managed to have Huell's sentence reduced to four months' probation and time served, she and Jimmy ended up in bed where Jimmy entertained her with his horrible Bayou accent.

After he made the crawdad comment, Kim laughed: "That's not a thing" to which Jimmy responded, "It's a thing that happens to you when you're sitting in the bayou".

When Rhea Seehorn, the actress who portrays Kim, was asked about the scene, she said, "Well, luckily, they had Kim laughing. When he actually does the impressions for me, when we're laying in bed, it was a great and fortunate thing that Kim is actually supposed to be laughing, or else it would have been a lot harder for me."

Answer: Jimmy's reinstatement hearing

When Kim told Jimmy she believed that the reinstatement board thought he was insincere because he didn't mention Chuck, Jimmy was baffled: "What does Chuck have to do with this?" Kim pointed out that the committee had read the transcripts of his bar hearing, so they knew the history between Chuck and him.

When the committee member asked if there was anyone who had influenced him as a lawyer, they were expecting him to talk about Chuck. But Jimmy said it would be insincere to mention Chuck because he didn't think of him at all, as he illustrated with the above quote.

Chuck had brought the drunk Jimmy home after his celebration at the karaoke bar. As Chuck was getting Jimmy to bed, Jimmy was talking about symmetry. He told Chuck that Howard needed to add another "M" to the HHM name to make it more symmetrical "and people love symmetricality... That's why God gave us two eyes. You know, more pleasant to look at. Hands, two feet, thumbs, and nipples." After Jimmy made his comment about getting by with one nipple, he asked Chuck if he was right, and Chuck responded: "You may be more right about this than anything you've ever spoken about before".
