Corday said this to Weaver after discovering that Kerry had arranged for Mark to have a competency review, following the removal of his brain tumour. A furious Elizabeth yelled at Kerry, insisting that Mark was not a danger to anyone, before then hurling the demigod insult at her.

Romano said this to Benton after a young, black man questioned the fact that he had not received an interview for medical school. As newly appointed director of diversity, Romano explained that dealing with this man was now Peter's problem. When Peter reviewed William White's application, he was stunned to find his own application tucked away "in the back, with three others filed under" affirmative action. Later on, while discussing the matter with Cleo, Peter revealed that although his grades "were good", when compared "to the other applicants" accepted that year, he should not "have gotten in".

Moreover when he reviewed William White's file, he saw that all of the young man's grades were better than his own.
