Sawyer agrees, but is soundly defeated by Hurley. Hurley says, "Sorry I beat you so bad, dude." This unlocks a video, announcing a number of options to press, depending on the situation. The video announces, "manual override achieved. For pallet drop enter 24. For station uplink enter 32. for mainland communication enter 38." The video continues, "Has there be an incursion on this station by The Hostiles? If so, enter 77."

Hurley, in one of his more innovative moments, decides to construct a golf course, in order to help alleviate stress. Hurley has put together a crude golf course. He says, "Welcome, to the first and hopefully last, Island Open. It's two holes for now, 3 par, and no waiting."

Sawyer and Hurley are playing horseshoes at the barracks. Sawyer makes a particularly good shot and says, "Oh! Beat that." Hurley makes an even better throw, winning the game. This is somewhat ironic, considering his luck associated with winning the lottery, with the "numbers."

He rolls the dice and is successful in winning territory from Hurley. Hurley claims that Australia is the key to the whole game, and Sawyer says, "Says you."

Hurley, Kate and Sawyer are playing Poker on the beach. The stakes they are playing for, happen to be fruit. Jack happens along and offers advice to Hurley about his hand. Sawyer says, "Hey, Amarillo Slim, you think because you watch poker on TV you can tussle with the big boys?" Later, Jack wants to raise the stakes and play for the medical supplies that Sawyer has. Jack wins with a pair of nines, over Sawyer's pair of fives.

Kate is handcuffed and is sitting on the pool table, when Jack enters. He explains that, "I made a deal with them. They're going to let me go." Jack says that, he is going home. In the background, a couple of pinball machines can be seen, as well as a foosball table.

While Desmond is discussing the possibility of time travel, with his physicist friend, a familiar tune can be heard from the jukebox. Desmond says, "I remember this night. Graybridge come back from 2 goals down in the final two minutes, and win this game." Unfortunately, Desmond has the wrong night.

After breaking up with Penny, Desmond returns to the bar. The same tune plays on the jukebox. This time, events turn out as Desmond remembers them. Desmond remarks, " I had the wrong night. I was right. I was off by a night. I heard the song and then .. I remember this. I'm not crazy. I can still change things. I can still change it."
