Hawkeye had claustrophobia and Margaret had a fear of loud noises. Hawkeye wasn't able to overcome his phobia despite the numerous attempts to do so. Margaret bravely did so by driving with Hawkeye under the shelling.

The whole company went there in order to relax and unwind. It was supposed to be a simple recreational activity. But it wasn't to be. On the way back home, they were trapped in their own bus. The only way to survive was to have a Korean mother silence her baby. Unfortunately, she did so by smothering him. Hawkeye was deeply affected and was hospitalized for a while.

A truly eccentric, but certainly entertaining character. He portrayed many different characters, mainly in order to fool people. He always scared the daylights out of the whole camp, and clashed heads with Hawkeye and Trapper, and later BJ.

After weeks of eating the same food (liver and fish), Hawkeye decided that it was time to challenge the system. So, he started digging up. And with the help of Radar, Henry, and Trapper, he was able to persuade someone to send them to Korea. He ordered a massive 40 pounds. He did, however, forget the coleslaw!
