Scott and his best buddy Stiles were more or less socially awkward teens on the sidelines of the popular crowd when the series began in June 2011. While exploring the forest nearby for a missing girl, Scott was attacked by an Alpha male and bitten. Afterward, he began to experience some exciting and unusual changes.

Joshua and James played Pacey and Dawson respectively on the hit series "Dawson's Creek" and Chad was Luke Scott on "One Tree Hill". Tyler Posey got his acting start early, playing the young son of Jennifer Lopez in the movie "Maid in Manhattan".

Jackson, played by actor Colton Haynes, started the series off as the star of the team. Jackson was very popular, though not that nice of a person, and dated the object of Stiles' obsession, Lydia Martin. After Scott's performance enhancing transformation, he too became a star on the team.

The more Jackson witnessed of Scott's talent, the more he needed to know what had caused the sudden change.

In "Magic Bullet", Scott and Stiles had to work hard to save Derek's life after Kate shot him with a special bullet. They were successful in doing so, but Derek and Kate would meet again at the end of the season. At that time, we found out they'd had an intimate relationship briefly in the past, right before she supposedly murdered most of Derek's family.

In the end, Peter Hale killed Kate by ripping out her throat. This was an act of revenge on his part, possibly carried out on the wrong person. Kate was played by Jill Wagner and Derek by Tyler Hoechlin.

It was not Derek, as Derek was not the Alpha. Derek's uncle, Peter Hale, was the culprit. Believed to be totally incapacitated by the fire set by Kate Argent several years earlier, Peter was not even a suspect for most of the season. He was slowly getting better as the years had passed, though he still appeared to be badly burned. He killed Derek's sister, becoming the Alpha. By the time he'd attacked Lydia, his appearance was back to normal. Derek agreed to help Scott stop Peter when he found out Peter had killed his sister.
Ian Bohen played Peter Hale.

Answer: Derek

The season ended with Derek killing Peter and becoming the new Alpha. This prevented Scott from obtaining his werewolf cure from Peter. Jackson, Allison, Stiles and Scott all played a part in burning Peter alive, debilitating him enough for Derek to kill him in the first place.

Afterward, Jackson came to Derek wanting his reward for helping to kill Peter. Derek gave Jackson what he wanted, the bite, which went on to be fully explored in season two. Allison's scary mom (played by actress Eaddy Mays) told her husband that Kate would not go down for something she didn't do, so Kate may not have been the one to start the fire that killed so many of the Hales six years prior.

Answer: Kanima - lizard shape shifter

Derek said that the creature, first thought to be Lydia, was a Kanima. Derek admitted that this Kanima was not a normal one, and had mutated in some fashion, though he had no idea why. Lydia seemed to be immune to the bite she suffered from Peter Hale in the season one finale episodes. Previously Derek had believed, and Peter himself stated to Stiles, that the bite would either make you a werewolf or it would kill you.

It appeared as though Lydia could be immune, giving hope that Jackson or Scott could be cured of their curse. Jackson, as the Kanima, was being controlled by someone, but it was not at all clear who that person was at first.

It was determined that the Kanima killed murderers. Shawn was the first person killed by the Kanima, and then it was Issac's father. But, the Kanima may have been after the family based on the fact that Issac's deceased older brother would have been 24 and was in the Beacon Hills class of 2006.

It began to appear as though the shifty chemistry teacher could be the Kanima's handler. He wasn't. The next victim was the garage mechanic, as witnessed by Stiles, then the family living out in the trailer near the woods (Jessica, her baby, and husband). Scott did not think Jackson killed the pregnant mother, so his boss suggested that the handler may have done that.

It went after Danny at the gay club, whose connection to the list of attributes was not immediately known.

It bowed before Allison's grandfather Gerard, and the mysterious guidance counselor played by Bianca Lawson was also suspicious. In this episode, Kara Simmons was working the ticket counter for the rave, and Stiles found her picture in the 2006 yearbook.

The pack, and Stiles, tried to prevent her death by capturing Jackson. While captured, Issac, Erica and Stiles tried to get the info about the handler out of Jackson. Since the building was under a spell, the handler couldn't escape. It spoke through Jackson, and revealed that everyone that had been killed had a hand in murdering him/her. The end of the episode also revealed that Scott's boss, Dr. Deaton, had an alliance with the new guidance counselor, Ms. Morrell. Kara was killed by Jackson at the rave, and Derek bit Victoria Argent while rescuing Scott from her clutches. In the episode that followed, "Party Guessed", Stiles and his dad discovered that the final link was that Issac's dad was swim coach, and the other victims were on that 2006 swim team, as well as their chemistry teacher.

Peter had been appearing to Lydia in the guise of a young man, which led Lydia to the old Hale house. Peter's body was encased in the floor boards of the burned out house. Somehow Lydia's werewolf immunity gave Peter the ability to come back to life. After he came into contact with Derek, he informed Derek that he did not want to be Alpha again and that he could both stop and save Jackson. Jackson's fate seemed sealed though, when he took his own life on the lacrosse field in "Battlefield", the penultimate episode of season two.

Answer: Scott's mom, Melissa McCall

After her traumatizing experience in the previous episode, nurse Melissa McCall changed her entire stance on the supernatural situation. She went from 'denial girl' to 'proactive girl' so to speak. She told Scott to do whatever he could to save everyone.

After Jackson's alleged suicide on the playing field, she went to the morgue to look at his body. She found his body bag dripping with the viscous clear venom we'd all come to know during the season. When she opened the bag, she found Jackson sealed inside the venom, which appeared to have hardened somewhat, though it hadn't reach his face to that point.

She called Scott and told him he'd want to come see it for himself. Peter had just informed Scott and Isaac that if Jackson had killed himself, it was because that was what Gerard had wanted.

Answer: Stiles died

Gerard revealed that he wanted a bite from Derek to become a wolf. He had cancer and did not want to die. He even admitted he'd kill his own son to make sure he did not die. Scott was two steps ahead of Gerard. He'd replaced his medicine with wolfsbane pills, so that after Gerard took Derek's bite, he'd start to die immediately.

It worked perfectly, but the season ended without us knowing if Gerard had died for sure. Afterward, Lydia and Stiles crashed in on the scene and she used the house key to bring Jackson's humanity back.

This allowed Jackson to offer himself up to Derek, who, along with Peter, dug their claws into Jackson's torso. No longer a controlled killing machine, Jackson's redemption allowed him to become the creature he'd wanted to be all along, a werewolf.

He had unique bright blue eyes, unlike Derek's red or Scott's orange. Boyd and Erica, freed earlier by Chris Argent, ran deeply into the woods, and straight into the all Alpha back. At the end, Allison tearfully broke off her relationship with Scott.

He told her it was okay, and that he would wait for her until she was ready.
