MTV's "Teen Wolf" Season 4 Trivia Quiz

Early into this season, it was revealed that Kate had been turned into a Were-jaguar when Peter tried to kill her a couple of seasons earlier. She kidnapped Derek at the end of season three, and took him down to Mexico. Scott and the gang figured out he was down there, and went to rescue him from Kate.

When they finally located Derek, he was a teenager with no memories of his life as an adult. Sadly, Allison died at the end of season three. Or did she?

Answer: The Benefactor

The Benefactor stole millions from Peter and Derek, and then used the money to pay assassins to kill off the many supernatural citizens of Beacon County. Beacon County included Beacon Hills and the surrounding towns. The "people" set to die were on a dead pool list, for which Lydia was able to ascertain the passwords. There were three lists, and Scott and his pack were all on them. The Benefactor turned out to be Meredith from Eichen House, who was a Banshee.

Der Kindestod and The Gentlemen were monsters from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Answer: Canine Distemper

A teacher at the school had been recruited as an assassin for the Benefactor. He used his skills to develop a weaponized version of Canine Distemper. It was Dr. Deaton who figured it out, and Derek and Satomi who figured out the cure. Satomi had regularly drank a special kind of rare tea, and in the past had shared it with Derek's mother. Derek told Dr. Deaton that they were in luck, as some of the ingredients were saved in their family vault.

The tea was made from wild Reishi mushrooms, which are commonly found in China. That last tidbit courtesy of "Wolf Watch", hosted by star Jill Wagner.

Answer: Isaac

Derek's name was the only one of the three that was not already dead when the lists were unlocked. In "Time of Death", Scott faked his death to try and draw out the Benefactor. While "dead", he went into a dream state. Meanwhile, Lydia and her mom discovered that Lydia's Banshee grandmother might not be dead after all. Separately, Lydia and Scott figured out that the Benefactor could be a Banshee. Also in this episode, Malia and Peter discussed locating Malia's birth mother, known as the Desert Wolf.

Lydia's grandmother was dead after all, an apparent suicide inside Eichen House. It was later discovered she'd been murdered.

Answer: Deputy Parrish

Jordan Parrish (actor Ryan Kelley) turned out to have some sort of supernatural ability, thus explaining why his name was also on the dead pool. Deputy Haigh set Parrish ablaze at the start of episode nine, "Perishable", but he survived the fire unscathed. Derek and Scott were not able to figure out what he was, supernaturally speaking, in this episode. But, his life saved Stiles and Lydia from Brunski when they went to Eichen House to figure out the secret Lorraine Martin left behind.

The Sheriff, at this time, was in the hospital awaiting a bullet removal surgery.

The end of the episode revealed that our Benefactor was none other than Meredith Walker (actress Maya Eshet).

Answer: Peter

Chris followed clues to Kate and it led him to the water treatment plant. He found Peter there, instead of Kate. Peter had promised Kate not to kill her brother, but he couldn't allow Chris to leave. So, he impaled Chris with rebar and into a cement wall, and then bent the bar around him.

Peter: "Now you rest here awhile. You've had a hard time ...for a very long time."

In the episode of "Wolf Watch" for the previous episode, Ian Bohen said he'd lobbied to show creator Jeff Davis that Peter be redeemed and end up a force for good. He also added that the possibility had never really been on the table for Peter to be a good man. To me, though, he's an extremely sexy bad guy.

Answer: Deer

She was clearly thinking about her time spent solely as a coyote. Stiles quickly interjected with "pizza, she loves pizza". Shelly Hennig has given a great performance as Malia Hale.

Answer: Braeden

She and Derek were discussing his feeling powerless to help now that he was, well, powerless as a supernatural. Braeden said the quoted dialogue and Derek responded with "You're a much better shot than me." In season four, Braeden and Derek have enjoyed a physical relationship as they tried to help Scott with the dead pool and Kate Argent. Meagan Tandy played Braeden, starting in the first episode of season three.

In 2006, Meagan was crowned Miss California. And despite her very youthful appearance, Meagan was 29 in 2014. To me, she looked closer to 21.

Answer: Sun, moon, truth

Derek and Stiles rode with Liam in the back of a prison transport van on their way to Mexico. Derek gave the false talisman, the Triskelion, to Liam. When he began to wolf out, Derek told him to repeat the words "Alpha, Beta, Omega". That did not work at all. So, Stiles offered the mantra of "sun, moon, truth", the three things that cannot be long hidden. That worked, and Liam returned to his human form.

Answer: None of these

The only deaths in the finale were Berserkers and one Mexican wolf hunter. Sheriff Stilinski killed one Berserker in the school as he helped Mason and Lydia escape. Derek killed one in Mexico by tearing off the cow skull from its head. It was thought momentarily that Derek had been killed, but it turned out that he was "evolving".

He had the ability to transform into real wolf form. This shocked and scared Kate a little when she saw it with her own eyes. Scott defeated his Berserker persona and then proceeded to defeat Peter. Peter lived and was drugged with Wolfsbane for his trip back to Beacon Hills.

He was deposited into a cell inside Eichen House with the beautifully creepy Dr. Valack, who seemed an homage to Dr. Hannibal Lecter. When Dr. Valack showed Peter his third eye, Peter began screaming like a child.

He was trapped in a cell with someone very scary and the cell was made of mountain ash, a line Peter could not cross. Chris Argent said farewell to Scott and the pack so he could help the Mexican hunters find Kate.

He'd made a deal with them so they'd leave Scott and his pack alone. Braeden admitted to Derek that she used to be a US Marshal. She said she'd become obsessed with one subject whose code name had been Desert Wolf. She'd been hunting Malia's mom. And, Lydia told Jordan Parrish she wanted to help him figure out what he was, and gave him a bound version of the bestiary to begin his search. Steven Brand played Dr. Valack and Khylin Rhambo played Mason.
